i believe i have the franchise file saved properly on my usb stick...i have the 2 seperate folders and the franchise file in the second folder. just at work still and gonna try and upload it to my ps3 when i get home.

looking forward to it! it will get me to the start of the season with everything in tact and then from there i'm planning on doing manual injuries and lineup and rotations manually...and i'm going to use the thread here on OS for my daily player transactions. just gonna cut and paste those transactions daily to a word document and pretty much i think i'll be able to enjoy the rest of the season from there.

This is just utterly asinine. The Show is far-and-away the best baseball franchise ever, but that doesn't mean it's without it's bugs!

And yes, this is a bug. I understand the logic behind the game objectively looking at players and deciding where to put them, but that doesn't excuse the game adjusting your lineups when the control is set to manual!.

It's just absurd!

The fix you all came up with has been perfect 7 games into my Franchise. No lineup screwups at all. Grant I do have injuries off to keep things simple. Thanks again

I think I know the answer to this, but, if I download this franchise file and use it, will the cpu lineups still get f'd up if someone gets injuried?

Yeah, I have to say this is pretty annoying. Even though you do adjust the lineup back to the way it was & you send people back to the minors, it will use up a minor league assignment. (cant remember what its called)

Bleh, this has always been a problem. Knight was able to fix this a bit last year by adjusting player ratings.

1. Does controlling all 30 teams to avoid problems actually mean creating 30 different profiles? Can't I apply MY profile to every team? Isn't that enough?

2. When you guys say, "cut the roster down to 25 BEFORE starting" where exactly are you seeing that option? I can't seem to figure that out.

If it helps, I play single seasons with full control of every team, no trades, no injuries, no management, and I follow the season for transactions and injuries by moving guys around.

3. What exactly will be different about the V2 roster set that isn't in the current one?

I'd assume you could assign your profile to every team and not have to worry about a global setting, but have not tried that route so not 100% positive.

2. When you guys say, "cut the roster down to 25 BEFORE starting" where exactly are you seeing that option? I can't seem to figure that out.

Each MLB team must have a 25 man roster come opening day, so MLB Roster will be where you find which 25 are on the roster and same for AAA & AA.

If it helps, I play single seasons with full control of every team, no trades, no injuries, no management, and I follow the season for transactions and injuries by moving guys around.

No, you dont have to assign a profile to all the teams but can still control all 30.

Thanks for the workarounds guys.

I am a big SCEA fan. I praise them every year and I really feel they love baseball and listen to the community.

That said, I am very disappointed that not a single one of the guys have come in here to explain this issue. Why is it limited? Why doesn't it seem to work smoothly? Why do we have to do so much to get it just playable?
And, even then, its not exactly correct.

The SCEA team pops in on many different threads and have plenty to say on various topics. I can't help but wonder why they are not doing the same with this issue.

I'd like a statement, an explanation. I feel we deserve that.

I apologize up front if they have addressed this issue but I missed it.

there is nothing wrong as far as I am concerned it is working properly. There has to be some sort of built in logic for 10 years into franchise for the AI to determine batting orders when the so called stars that we know simply by name are retired and all rosters are fictional
