...wait a minute... just follow my thinking here for a second cause I may be totally wrong. But, if 40 becomes 25 for MLB, and then I take AA down to 25 guys, and then AA down to 25, at the end won't I end up having to release a bunch of guys?

Where do you think the the extra 15 players from the 40 man roster come from? Those are players that are already in AAA, AA when rosters go back to normal 25.

Oh, ok. Sorry, didn't mean to be dense. So essentially it's 100 players per organization? 25 - MLB, AAA, AA, and A? So when they're all evenly dispersed each one ends up with 25? Ok, that may have been obvious and I may be a bit slow but I don't think anyone ever said that up front. In this day of retooled roster files, I'm used to seeing teams with lots of different quantities of players. That's part of why I asked.

So the game comes with them all set to 25 and they get mixed up based on the changes made by roster makers? Is that it?

Ok, so I forgot to mention that I play season mode instead of franchise. Is that a problem or does that not mean anything?

Also, I followed every instruction. I ran a season with manual EVERYthing, I go to Spring Training, I simulate through it. I head to the Season so I can start fixing up the rosters, and even though everything is on manual, 6 or 7 guys get put on waivers. I have control of every team, and each one has my profile. So, I don't get it, what the heck am I doing wrong????

Every player getting put on the AAA/AA/A teams must use and option or clear waivers.
Regardless if you control it or not.

Searching is hard huh?

Download the zipped file.
Unzip it to your flash drive(so that you have the PS3 FOLDER(not the zipped file)....on your flash drive.
The file structure is this(just for infomation)
PS3/SAVEDATA/FRAN(then a bunch of numbers)
Place in the PS3 USB port.
On the XMB..go to the SAVED DATA UTILITY section....locate your USB drive...hit X...highlight the file and hit triangle to copy to your HDD.

Owl, need some help.

I want to be able to have injuries/trades/callups/send downs, 40 man management, basically everything by the CPU besides lineups, and i know how to set this in global for the other 29 teams bar my Tigers, my question is, if i do this, will the computer totally screw the lineups when trades/injuries/callups & senddowns occur? Or is there any way around this?

If so i guess im better just playing a one man chise and live and let live with OS v1 no?

Is that file from the OS v1 edits by dorismary? Or is it something else?

You have to format the USB stick to have a folder called "PS3", inside that folder have a folder called "SAVEDATA" and then put the unzipped franchise file in the SAVEDATA folder on the USB stick.

If you do not format it this way the PS3 WILL NOT read it.

Wow, something's really wrong with me. It took me over an hour to realize that I missed this step.
