Hey knight, is there anyway you could post what you have done in the roster vault for like a day or so...would like to try what you have so far out, been having problems with downloading zip files and putting on ps3.

just a request, if that's not something you wanna do then that's great too...this set looks like it'll be great. good reviews thus far...

    NCAA Hoops: Georgetown Hoyas

There's one in the vault that's like a week old. Scroll back a page or two in this thread and you'll see Knight's reply to my similar question and he lists the name of the set. He, rightfully so, doesn't want to put out partial rosters with his name on there.

What he's talking about is hopefully at some point they'll offer maybe a league editor similar to the text-based games where you align the leagues according to particular years. So in my case where I'm creating rosters for the '86 season, I could get rid of the expansion teams that weren't around back then, I could move the Brewers back into the AL & I could change each league back to 2 divisions instead of 3.

That's the big feature we would like for the classic rosters, but also things like more classic unis & so forth. Didn't mean to answer for Knight, but we've had enough conversations about it that I knew what he was talking about.

          Yes...that's exactly it.
Also...if more and more guys are editing rosters and want to edit leagues...perhaps we might get a way to get the ability to edit more and more things in the game, such as managers and manager tendencies, coaches, schedule(this might be a tough one) and get more things into the editor as well.
Of course my dream(which will not happen, I'm certain) is for an outside editor that can be used on the PC and then transfer the file to the PS3.
Imagine being able to edit audio files(even if you couldn't get the files to put in to the game in place of Matt/Dave and Rex.....SOMEBODY would take on the task of MAKING sound files to sound like the old time announcers)

My point is....if SCEA sees guys happy with just the updates they put out...that's all they will offer. But when they see that The Vault and threads like this and the others ...both here and on other sites.....are filling up with historical/current "modding"(editing)....they just might take notice and cater a bit(by bit maybe) to us a little.

Hi Knight, thanks for Giambi and the boys. True they were not sluggers, but boy what a pitching staff. From the starter to closing pitchers very solid and unlucky to lose to the Yanks. Il liked T'Long a cool throwback guy. Relating to your thoughts about modding, I am currently playing NBA 2K10 on PC and the mods available are astonishing. From players, stadiums, uniforms, coaches and even shoes you can take yourself back to either 1991 or 1996. Take a look on the NBA Live forums under NBA 2K10 Releases and Previews it is AWESOME. If you could The Show was like that I believe not only sales would be up, but the longevity of playing the game for years, not just throw the game out for the next years new version. Guess thats the problem with todays throw away society.

Like in the MP '05 Mods? Those were awesome.

I'm in the middle of a Franchise right now and decided to create my favorite/greatest Cardinals and of course myself

                Lineup soon:

                C: Y. Molina
                1B: Big Mac
                2B: Felipe Lopez
3B: Albert Pujols (Might move him to LF)
SS: Ozzie Smith (Had him down perfect in the CAP, left the game on to take my GF home and my cousin turns it off...WTF!)
                LF: Holliday
                CF: Rasmus
                RF: Ludwick (For now)

                Still tinkering in my head.

A roster mod like this is the best thing we'll get when it comes to consoles.

I see no reason why SCEA would refuse to put in a league editor for next year.

NBA 2K has it and I can't imagine its too hard to include.

Got the starting 25+ done for the Reds.
I should have them for you tomorrow night.

                            Here you go fellas.
This is the set with the Reds completed.
                            I know I said D-Backs...but I forgot....they will be next.

I used SCEA's Junior....the card on him from 2000 looked pretty close.

                            Let me know of anything..
                            Thanks...

I worked on the Expos instead of the D-Backs tonight.
I got the starting 25 plus some bench guys done. I should be completed with them tomorrow night.
