    Pitch to Add: Cutter

I've always watched him throw the cutter. It's not in the show. But on the televised game tonight they went over a chart of how often he used each pitch. 30% Cutter, 29% Fastball, I believe 19% Slider, I believe 19% Curveball, and 3% Change-Up.

I lol'd at the wikipedia reference but yeah, Morrow throws a 4-seam, slider, circle-change, and curveball, not sure why gameday is classifying his changeup as a splitter though...

lol, yeah I was looking up where he was from and I saw it said the pitches he threw, and I notice there was a Curve no Splitter. Do you know if he did throw a splitter before?

I think he switched to a split-change grip this season, but that pitch isn't in this game so the circle change is still a better representation of what he throws.

              hi there...

              Brandon Morrow, SP, Blue Jays...

              Pitch to add - Curveball
              pitch to remove - Splitter

              Direct quote: (and link)

“I got back a little bit better into the rhythm I was in earlier (this season) with all four pitches, mixing those and using the curveball and changeup quite a bit more,” Morrow said. “I didn’t think I was taking anything off, I was just trying to throw strikes the whole time, stay within myself really, I wasn’t overthrowing. I thought I had pretty good stuff, I thought everything was pretty good.”

I've been lobbying around here and over at TheShowNation site for 3 yrs for MLB The Show to correct his pitching repertoire. Is it possible you could get his curveball in the game? PLease. Pretty Please. With Sugar on top????

              Cheers.
              George Bell forever!
