Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
Felix Hernandez should have and be given his 4 seam and 2 seam fastball back. I fully understand and respect the work some of you guys have done with the pitch charts and have done a good job. But in an situation like Felix he was just on tv not only saying that he throws the 4 seam and 2 seam he also showed his grip. I know there was a good topic on Felix earlier in this thread and the charts may show something different but I would have to go with what the guy says he throws.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
Just so we're clear on this, you do know that a sinker is a 2-seam fastball with more sink than run right? Not sure why he was given a cutter, he throws his 4-seam more often (he does have a cutter though, just doesn't use that much). In every article I've seen, he uses the words 2-seam and sinker interchangeably, but the sinker in-game is more representative of the movement his pitch gets than the 2-seam fastball.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
Here's an article from the Seattle Times after he lost to the Yankees: Felix Hernandez discusses the sinker that didn't sink in Seattle's 6-2 loss to New York Yankees
There weren't many bad pitches thrown by Felix Hernandez tonight. But one of the worst was a sinker that didn't sink to Raul Ibanez in the sixth inning.
Ibanez hit a three-run homer and the Mariners saw a one-run lead vanish in a 6-2 loss.
"That was a mistake,'' he said. "I tried to throw a sinker, the ball didn't move and stayed in the middle of the plate. One pitch, game over.''Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Ridin's June update is the only one I've seen that has super-prospect Profar correctly shown as a switch hitter.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
guys Im having an awful time with Craig Kimbrel getting any one out!
His Fastball if I start it out on the edge of the plate misses the zone, if I adjust and start it a bit inside the zone gets hammered.
His breaking ball runs all over the place, I edited him so he throws a slurve as suggested in this thread, but I cant get outs with Kimbrel, any suggestions.
Its not me Venters and O'Flahrety are having great success both with ERA's under 2.00Comment

Anyone know if RA Dickey should have a two seam or sinker? What is most appropriate?

Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
Player Name: Ivan Nova
What Pitch(s) needs to be added or removed: Curveball. Replace it with a 12-6 Curveball.
PROOF: When Nova debuted in 2010, the YES Network said he threw a 12-6. No regular curveball. Not once have I seen him throw a regular curveball during his MLB service.MLB 15 The Show Franchises

Re: MLB 12 The Show Pitch Repertoires Corrections Thread
Jim Johnson
Add: Running Fastball, Sinker, Circle-Change
Remove: 4SFB, 2SFB.
I'm trying to find proof right now, but I've seen Johnson pitch for the Orioles over 100 times. He has a Sinker around 93MPH. A Running-Fastball around 95MPH. And he has two different changeups. He has a regular one that he uses against righties that goes around 88MPH, and a circle-change that tails away from the lefties around 87MPH.Comment
