i'm having a hard time getting motivated to make the last four.. Mike Koplove, Andy Fox and Augie Ojeda.. and Eric Byrnes (ugh i hated him but he needs to be on the roster)

are there maybe better choices for the last reliever and middle infielders? maybe move Orlando Hudson to the D'Backs?
(he won 2 gold gloves an had an all star appearance, he was never an all star in toronto), and remove Augie Ojeda

and maybe replace Andy Fox(2 1/2 years as a backup) with Alex Cintron(5 years, 3 as a starter)


and replace Koplove with Oscar Villareal (who set the team record for single season appearances by a reliever) or Greg Swindell/Bret Prinz/Tony Pena etc


or even repalce Fox or Ojeda with Alex Cabrera, i know he only played one year in arizona or in the MLB at all, but he's japans all time single season HR king and would be a fun add in (and i have a near perfect cap i made for him already)

After reading your suggestion on how to request new players, I'll go about this in a better way. I'd like to suggest the following change for the Pirates:

IN
Bill Madlock (.305, 163HR, 860RBI)

OUT
Tommy Leach (.269, 63HR, 810RBI)

Augie Ojeda was an awful major league player

I just cant bring myself to create him in game, it was to satisfying to see him finally get cut from the roster, it's a blemish to have him on the team

i know he was a fan favorite for some, but thats more so becaue half the sports fans in arizona are stupid and just liked him because they could shout "auggie auggie auggie ohy ohy ohy"



his 162 game career average for HR and SB are 2 each, for the full season. .. just no....no...

andy fox at least had one year (with the Marlins) where he stole 31 bases in '02 so he has some sort of positive. but he was just a tiny bit better then Augie while in arizona.

I made an all-time White Sox Roster. You are welcome to export any of the players to your project. I think I made around 35 players and took 6 or 7 from other rosters. So if i used someones player: Thank You.

The players age is from their first full season on the Sox. Used stats from baseball-reference.com; Their rating are from three different sources: two different ratings calculators and then a reference to current rated players in the game. I tried to get their ratings to mirror the real life stats. I simmed a year and the numbers were close to what they actually did in real life.

The appearance of the players is based on the period of play. Example guys from early 1900's have white long sleeves, and knee high socks, guys from 60's have stirrups. The faces need some more work but everything else is in good order.

Hey capa one of my favorite baseball movies was Billy Crystal's 61'
There is an actor in it that looked alot like Moose Skowron. Great movie.

Lovin these players you guys did a hell of a job. Where is the best place to find what a batter hit vs righties/lefties to come up with accurate attributes for both contact and power? Also will this be made into a season that can be played online ? New to the show so dont know if custom rosters can be played in an online season. Also their is a hell of a Nomar Garciaparra in the vault that can be used. Their are like 4 or 5 in the vault but the one is spot on and was not done by any of your roster creators. Like I said you guys are great.

The attributes are not completed yet, but baseball-reference.

Thanks baseball reference has helped a lot. I have came up with some great formulas for batting contact and power and am glad to share them if you would like. Tricky part is coming up with some of the others like speed and BR ability and all the fielding and throwing any thoughts on this?
