I'm considering switching, because rascoc's system using the 2012 ZiPS Projections. Sometimes I feel like if I use the 3 year splits, it's just like playing a game in the past.PSN-Shugarooo

Re: Made my own ratings calculator
I'm gonna keep using DM's calculator (I like the 3 year average like SCEA uses)... What do you think about HR/AVE #'s with DM's calculator?Last edited by The Kid 24; 04-10-2012, 04:18 PM.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Made my own ratings calculator
I used to use sb percentage/2 as the rating. Also, take the leader in sb attempts and divide a players number into his, and then X 50% for agg. I had all the 2011 fielding stats put in, but it took it so long to calculate them, I deleted that part (using Banzho and TT formulas).
lets take Elvis Andrus for example...
(37/50)/2 = so then a br ability rating of 37? or would that be aggressiveness?
Anthony Gose is the Leader in attempts with 80.
(50/80)=.625*.50%=.3125=31, does that seem accurate?

Re: Made my own ratings calculator
Aggressiveness= (50/80)=0.625=63
Ability=(74/94 (Utley is rated 94% (15/16 steals, otherwise it would be 90%)=78 or 82.
Right?PSN-Shugarooo
