The throwing strength I had moved down from what you had I moved back up half way between. I will still get the occasional infield or bunt single but it has to be hit in the right spot and with a speedy hitter.

Sounds good. I am very happy where the pitching sliders are too! There are some games I can breeze through with a starter and some games where the starter can go only 4 innings, nice variety.

      Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis)

I've been using random teams just to get used to these sliders and I pitched a solid game w/Halladay the other night. 8 Innings, 2 runs on I think it was 6 hits. But then I used Cleveland and couldn't do a thing with Sowers. Couldn't throw strikes and didn't last the 3rd. Funny thing is I watched a little bit of him against the Yankees last night and he basically pitched the same game.
      It was kinda freaky.

Currently using your sliders nemesis, but with tfigs gameplay settings autofielding, auto throwing and auto baserunning and what not. I am getting great games with these

Good to hear! I am glad the sliders work well with other settings as well. Thanks for the feedback.

Depending on what the ps3 version brings, I will be doing a set for that one as well.

No offense but auto fielding, auto throwing and auto baserunning? Other than the obvious hitting and pitching is there anything you want to do on your own?

Some of us just like to hit and pitch. That is why there are options built into the game.
Is there a problem with that?

I mean how hard is it in this game to field fly balls or grounders? I have been playing video games since the days of nintendo and simply running under a target and fielding a ball is not that hard so why waste the time and effort. Also hopefully this will include a few more errors. Baserunning I find a bit more realistic as my guys are not as aggressive. Throwing last night I would of had an easy double play if turning myself, but it was as if Phillips thought about where to throw and got crossed up. Anyways play the game the way you like and I will as well. Next time be more constructive in your opinions

                      Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis)

                      Nemesis, these sliders are sweet.
I don't think I've had two games similar yet. I've had some where I get tons of hits, some where I get hardly any, a few where I've completely had my butt handed to me (I gave up 7 HR to the Tigers as the Mets-including 3 from Pudge alone in a 14-6 loss) but the next game I won 5-3 as Baltimore vs Oakland with a 3 run HR from Tejada in the 8th after working the count in my favor. That game also included a solid 6 innings from Jaret Wright.
I think on HOF level the CPU teams that can hit are going to hit very well, which makes you have to pitch better.
Do you think moving the CPU power down 1 will help or do you feel that would take away too much of their power? That was really the only game I gave up that many so I am hesitant to change anything.
Wow this is a long-winded post. Sorry folks.

I am glad you are enjoying the sliders! I would only lower power if the numerous HR's become a common occurence. Keep playing as is, if the cpu seems too explosive lower their power down to -2 or -3 then play a series of games to see the effect.

A quick note, the cpu really picks up on your pitching tendencies. Make sure you mix your pitches well and always hit select to see where your pitch location was for cpu batters who have done damage against you. Good luck!!

Yeah, I noticed in the game with all the HR's I was getting so pissed I just started firing fastballs right over the plate. It was basically batting practice for the CPU.

Hey Nemesis, just picked the game up today. I'm getting ready to play a game with your sliders here. How has the season been going for you? Could you post some stats?
