I am trying these today. I downloaded a few different sets of sliders and made my own adjustments but made a complete mess of things and got frustrated and didn't play for a few days.
Pitching was becoming way too easy as I threw 4 straight shutouts, including a 1 hitter and two 3 hitters.

Give them a shot, let me know how it goes! The sliders in post #29 are the latest ones.

          These sliders worked quite well.
With randomly selected teams I lost 8-7 as the Brewers to Seattle.
I had 14 hits to their 12, with 2 HR for each.
The only thing I changed was throwing strength for both myself and CPU. Throws from the outfield were getting in just a little fast so I changed them a little.
Pitch counts were accurate and both starters seemed to tire when they should (Suppan lasted until 1 out in the 6th and Hernandez got into the 7th)
Overall things seemed damn near perfect.

Yeah, Nemesis just wondering about Throwing Strength. Why did you increase it? I also see a little bit of the 'rocket arm' from the outfield.

The reason I raised the throwing arm strength was to combat against the baserunners running around the base paths too fast. With the default setting runners were beating out too many infield hits. We need a base running speed slider desperately! That was the thought process behind it.

I see what you mean about the infield hits. The throwing strength helps with that but it also takes away what should be sure extra base hits. I'm just looking for that happy medium.
I will let you know more as soon as I get a few more games in.

I find just the opposite. I have been playing with Default sliders for a while now and runners are not beating out infield hits I think they should be beating out. I was thinking of lowering Arm Strength. Willy Tavares has trouble with bunt singles. That is just my observation.

The problem with bunts is not the throwing strentgh, it is the reaction time of the fielders. If you play with fielder reaction time at default, they scoop up bunts way too fast, even with the slider dropped dramatically, they respond too quickly to the ball. Dropping down contact also deadens the ball so bunts do not travel too far.

The base runners are way too fast in this game. Besides raising throwing speed, the only other thing you could do would be to edit all the players and I am not down with that program.

That is one of the reasons I lowered fielder speed for the human player so that the cpu could get some extra base hits. One slider feeds off the other to get some balance.

                          Makes sense.
I tried my second game with these sliders and they played better this time.
I beat Florida 6-2 as Colorado. 11 hits for me and 8 for them.
Francis went 7 innings with 8 K's and 1 walk for me, Willis only went 5 giving up all 6 runs and 9 hits with I think 4 or 5 walks.
I had 7 walks all together.
Even my tweaked throwing slider made a little difference. A few xtra base hits that I didn't have yesterday.
Everything seems pretty smooth with these sliders.
                          Thanks!

I'm not having much fun with the contact slider at -10. Now I cant buy a hit. Even when I guess the right pitch and location I still hit into an out. I can still pitch lights out with this set-up, of course I'm using the Twins and Santana and Liriano are absolute beasts on the mound and Bonsner isnt bad himself. What of I kept the contact at -10 and put the power at +5 what would that do?

Put the contact at -8 and the power at +4. As far as pitching goes, max out the command to -10 and movement to +10. If it is still too easy, then it is time to move to classic pitching and you will have to back those 2 sliders back to default and start from there. Good luck!

These pitching sliders are working well.
If I use the #1 starter I can pitch a decent game, but with the#5 starter, or an average reliever I get roughed up a bit.
The throwing strength I had moved down from what you had I moved back up half way between. I will still get the occasional infield or bunt single but it has to be hit in the right spot and with a speedy hitter.
