They F'd up HOF this year! I am disappointed with this!

Ok unless I'm nuts and I don't think I am, the Outfielders are certainly slower on All Star. Good thing is the game is so far playing nicely on All Star. I also prefered HOF last year but the OF speed kills it IMO

I would prefer if this did not happen. The game plays differently than 07 and there are different sliders. Just give me some time to work out some specifics for the 08 version.

ok, i'm all mixed up here with these sliders, i know there is an outfielder speed slider and infielder speed slider that supposedly don't work correct? now in player1 sliders there is another slider called fielder speed which i take it is for both infielders and outfielders, does it work? also i don't see any global infielder outfielder speed slider like that for the cpu, so is there no slider that we can use to globally reduce both infielder and outfielder speeds for the cpu?

The global fielder speed slider for the human user works. There is no global fielder speed slider for the cpu.

They way it was supposed to work was that we could adjust specifically the outfielder and infielder speed and throwing. After you adjusted those individually, you could also adjust them globally from there respected individual settings! Well, I guess it did not turn out too well!

This is interesting. Are you experiencing this with the fielder speed slider at default (10) or at zero?

Skyboxer, how is the CPU on All Star? Are they competitive? Do you even tell a difference? Obviously you want to not win 130 games a year, so, so far do you feel like you are losing your fair share of games on All Star? Also I thought that All Star was slightly different in the zone hitting, like there aren't the same amount of zones??

I am definitely going to give All Star a shot tonight when I am able to get a game in. I just don't want to dumb down the experience if I can help it.

Since it's already seeming to easy to pitch and hit on HOF unless you adjust the sliders (I'm on Classic Pitching, movement at +10 and command at -10, and I'm batting with the contact at -10 and still getting plenty of runs).....I hope to G-d that All-Star is not the way to go.

On my current set I just lost to TB (I'm the Yanks) 8-3. Gave up 2 HR's with Pettire early. Never challenge really after that. I'm getting about 3-4 walk a game and it could be more if I wasn't so impatient at times. I'm walking the CPU also.
It's a work in progress but so far so good. I'm about to post what my setting are right now

All-Star is harder than HOF from what I have seen so far.

Thanks Skyboxer. I just had the best game using all your settings. Before I used them I was winning to easily. I played my phillies vs. the cubs with your settings. I was up 1-0 in the third. The cubs had two outs with a runner on first. I had a tough play to make with rollins and he threw a wide through to first. Runners at second and first. Zambrano the pitcher came up and on a 2-2 pitch he jacked a homer. I could not belive it. I was down 3-1 and went on to lose 6-4. What a game. I love it.....Allstar with those setting are the best.
