    I can answer that one....it's very small, but it's there. With the slider all the way up Taveras can crack 4 seconds on a bunt (which is still slow, but it's the best we can do). At default his time seems to be around 4.1 (yes, I timed these with a stopwatch - I have no life ) It's slower than it should be even with that slider maxed out, but I think it has to do with the animation where they get out of the box being too slow, and less to do with the actual speed. The slider difference is also a bit more obvious with the slower runners.

      uhmm ok..
      so than we have a problem...becasue by lowering the players speed will make them too slow in the basepatchs...meaning less change to x-bases...
      i hope the arm strengh lowered ratings can compensate forr that.


      DAMN why cant the OF speed slider work!!that would solve everything !

        I should point out that I didn't do that speed test with any roster edits, which seem to be a large part of this set - I'm using all the defaults. I'm just reporting what I saw.

        I really prefer to stay out of the roster edits.

          im really in doubt if the roster edits are that much needed for me too..
          1st i use auto baserunning, so the too much steal issue is out of question...and 2nd im having good games, i can meniton the last 6

          u see those are great boxscorers in my opinion, i evan got my first game with more runs than hits in any SCEA game(i play since MLB05)
          but what still bugs me, like most of u, is the way of getting x-basehits...ill only get them with a rocket to the wall of things like that...theres no hits down the line or medium strengh gappers...so im willing to try the roster edit stuff. im just afraid of the baserunning speed getting too slow.. yesterday i tested one game with all players reaction at 0 and speed lower about 60% , i got gunned down about 5 times...the baserunning was just too slow!

              CPU ARM STRENGTH

              The sliders that refer to the OF and IF speeds and strengths individually were disabled....per Kolbe(I guess they should have put an addendum in the manual or something).....

                Thanks again, K-man!

                I knew the IF/OF running speeds were disabled, but I didn't know arm strength also was.

                I have way too much time at work to obsess about this game, and count the seconds until I can play it!

                    Are you guys using the sliders (Nemesis) in conjunction to any player edits that Knight is doing? Or are you using the default roster attributes with slider adjustments?

                    Just curious if Nemesis' sliders will be for the current default roster or only for the Knight, editted attributes roster...or both?

                      The sliders I developed are from default roster attributes. I gave them to Knight because I want to make sure they sync well and they do not fight each other.

                          so how close are we to seeing your first full slider set for 08?

                                Well....I'm not speaking for Nem here...but I didn't give him any edits...so he's going off default I guess..
                                I'll be tailoring my edits to what he comes up with.
