But on his point, how many outfielder assist do you actually see. I thought about this a little, and I use your sliders now exact, and hes correct, I do not ever get outfield assist, because the computer is simply too smart and doesnt advance unless they will be safe.

I don't think in my 30 games played I have had one outfield assist.

What does nemesis set his at? I think I use -2 and get some outfield assists with this setting. As a matter of fact, I remember throwing a runner out who was trying to stretch a single into a double last night.

I totally understand his point and I brought from -4 to -3 when I started playing the ps3 version. At -2 the cpu started with the poor running choices again. I still throw runners out at the bags and once in a while at home. I still think overall they are still pretty agressive. Also, I think the cpu takes into account who you have in the outfield and who is throwing.

Bring it up to default and you will start to see some questionable base running.

FWIW I'm using these sliders on the ps3 and have still thrown out runners from the outfield. In around 10-12 games played one was at the plate attempting to score after I caught a fly ball. And two or three at third, either trying for a triple or going from first to third on a basehit.

Well to be fair Meatdawg, I have upped a lot of players Baserunning ability. There are a lot of slow guys in the league who are smart base runners. Then for young speedsters, I have their aggressiveness higher then their ability

That may have something to do with it...since IIRC, on default rosters, many players are 10 clicks or lower in baserunning ability

              Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis)

I had to lower them a bit and am now somewhere in the middle between your's and nem's.

I'm pretty sure the computer trys to pick off a lot more on the ps3 version then the ps2. I have the slider at -8 and it doesn't seem to matter, take 2 steps and its a 50 - 50 chance there throwing over, and like another 50 - 50 chance your pick off'd.

To add to this, I love how the computer can pick me off at will on first, but I can't get the computer for the life of me. At least it doesn't count as a caught steal......

I am still using the same set that I had posted online for download in the my sliders section. Overall, I like how the game plays with this set. I tweaked a few things but I always go back to the ps3 set. Glad they are working for you.

I never though I'd say this but I'm liking your sliders Nemesis. I did lower my power to -5 because I was still getting a lot of hits, though I may raise it to -2 or -3. I still use guess pitch also. I dont want to go to classic pitching so I may even raise the CPU plate disc slider by +5.

Nemesis I see you changed the CPU batter discipline to a +5, I somehow missed that change, is this to raise pitch count for your pitchers?
