They are where you stated to have them on your sliders.

ksig try the contact at -8 and power 0 setting, i had the same problem on the contact -10, i would have like 10 11 singles and no extra base hits! now in a 10 hit game ill have on average at least three doubles, which is about where it should be, I see all sorts of gappers and such now and not in an unrealistic way. try it!

man, i dont if it your sliders or what but Rich Harden in this game is awesome... just played a game against the angels... won it 2-1 Harden gave up just three hits in a complete game win. to top that off... he retired the final 22 hitters he saw in a row... for the month of July he has four wins and and microscopic ERA for the month of just 0.23. and he has one more start on the 31st to end the month as well...

Nick Swisher has 36 home runs and just drove in his 100th rbi of the season on july 25th. Streeet has 34 saves... the beat goes on...

Without even attempting to read this entire thread, are these the same sliders as the Operations Sports ones available for download. They look similar and are the most downloaded.

Next question, are the ones online always current or should I use the ones in the post above?

The one online has the same name as this thread. You can download them. There are different set options above based on skill level.

To follow up on my last post...

                  What's the consensus on using:

                  Guess pitch
                  Ball marker
                  Throwing meter
                  Throwing ball marker
                  Plate coverage indic. (what's this?)
                  Pitch callout (what's this?)
                  Strike zone

I'm looking for the most realistic settings available that will provide the most genuine MLB sim experience during gameplay.

                  Peace.

                    I have the following set-up:

                    Guess pitch -off
                    Ball marker -on
Throwing meter - on (it really does not matter)
Throwing ball marker (pitching? I have on fade)
Plate coverage indic. off (quite annoying when on. It visually shows your bat coverage)
Pitch callout - full (It shows the balls and strikes along with the mph)
                    Strike zone - off

Nemesis: I have been using your sliders since I bought this game but after 60+ games I am still not getting the strikeout number vs the AI. Last night I pitched with Beckett and he went 8 innings giving up 6 hits with 4 strikeouts. The most I have had in one game was 6 and that was with Dice-K. What sliders should I adjust to get a few more K's. I LOVE the way the AI plays right now all stats seem right on except for strikeouts. I mix my pitches consistently while also mixing speeds of the pitches. Any help you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Are you guys getting realistic pitch counts with these? I have noticed the innings are flying by. I just got through 3 innings of spring training with John Patterson (me) throwing 16 pitches. This isn't the first time I noticed but it is the first time I noted the pitch count.

I see my pitchers throwing anywhere from 90 to 120 pitches for a game. Not sure what the other guys are getting.

That's typically what a SP will throw during 6-7 innings of work (sometimes more, sometimes less). Add in the pitches for relievers and it should be closer to 150 pitches for 9 innings (if not more).

Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been a little tied up!

There is a delicate balance in adjusting the discipline slider in this game because it generally results in too many hits and low pitch counts because the cpu swings like a maniac. I would say try to keep with your pitching game plan and see if you can generate more k's. If it is not happening try dropping the slider down 2 notches.

With the current slider settings I can generally get 4-7 k's per game depending on the pitcher.
