The Red Sox took a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning on a Dustin Pedroia RBI single. The Angels got an RBI double from Bobby Wilson and an RBI single form Erick Aybar to take a 2-1 lead in the top of the 5th. Boston responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th on an RBI double from Bill Hall and RBI singles by Marco Scutaro and Jacoby Ellsbury to make it a 4-2 game. Kevin Youkilis hit a solo HR in the 6th to make it 5-2. Juan Rivera hit an RBI sac fly in the 7th to cut the lead to 5-3. Daniel Bard did the job in the 8th and Jonathan Papelbon slammed the door inthe 9th to record the save and preserve the victory for Boston.

The Red Sox are now 70-50 on the season

Darnell McDonald drove in 2 RBI with a single in the bottom of the 5th to make it 2-0 Boston. The Angels exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 6th off John lackey whow as cruising until that point. Hideki Matsui had the big blow with a 3-run HR. Jered Weaver gave the Angels 8 fantastic innings and Brian Fuentes pitched the 9th

Awesome thread and great stats too!

What happened, did you give up on your franchise?

What were your user hitting settings prior to 7,7?

I can't decide whether to start a franchise with Psycho's or yours..both play great!

Did you stay on all-star or switch to HOF like him?

I stayed on All-Star....never finished the franchise completely - life stuff got in the way then Madden and NHL came out

I gotta ask - why would you start a franchise now? MLB 11 comes out in 3 weeks

I only received the 2010 version @ X-MAS

Tested yours, Corey Hart Daughters, and Psycho's sliders 20 games each in franchise mode (I like yours the best).

Downloaded Razr's roster with stam edits.

Spent numerous hours editing the intro music for every batter and pitcher in the game.

I usually buy the game every other year. With 3 kids and a wife it's hard for me to play hours everyday like back in college. Like you said, life gets in the way.

Lastly, do you remember why you switched user hitting to 7,7? Where was it before; 6,6? or 4,6 like the cpu.

I'll be making a new thread sometime soon once I really start getting a slider set down.

Only made a couple minor tweaks with the new game. Playing on default All-Star and decreased Solid Hits, Pitch Speed, Fielder Speed, Baserunner Speed and Throwing Speed all by 1 click.

Gonna take a little time to get a feel for things - but I plan on getting a preliminary set out there within a week or two. I will open a new thread when the time comes
