Just One game at a Time and if I missed it what players did you lose to injury ?

You hit the nail on the head with your Pitching Impressions as I used to leave my starting pitchers in too long .
At times in game I feel im rewarded for making smart moves

But one of the best parts with Titus' sliders is the Pitcher / Hitter battles.

Here are my injuries

Nate McLouth out 6 months (Torn ACL) Lost him the first week of April
Chipper Jones out 1-2 months(Shoulder Separation) Lost him in late May
Melky Cabrera out 1-2 months (Broken Hand) Lost him in May
Alberto Callaspo out 1-2 Weeks (Pulled Calf) Lost him about a week ago. I had traded for him after the Chipper injury. I just didn't want to put Infante out there everyday but now I'm having too anyway.

My team right now looks like this...

Schafer
Prado
Heyward
McCann
Glaus
Guillen
Escobar
Infante

Rotation is Hudson, Hanson, Jurrjens, Lowe, and Medlen. I traded Kawakami, Reyes, and a B potential prospect to KC for Guillen and Callaspo.

If I keep winning and get back into this I might make another trade around the deadline and go for it. If not I might become sellers and get some prospects back.

Do you use sounds of the show If not they have some excellent Braves ones they really add alot of atmosphere to the game.

Really enjoying these sliders.
My only complaint is most balls are hit hard on both sides.
Are you guys seeing any choppers,slow rollers ect...
I've only played a handfull of games with these so maybe I just havn't seen the variety yet.

Yeah all these injuries happened during the games, I play every game. I don't sim any of my games. Like I said I lowered injuries to default, the injury to Callaspo occurred on default.

Did how the injuries happen look realistic , cool ?
As far a Sounds of the Show just go under that thread and they have tons of files and The Tomahawk chant is just like being there Wow , HR , Strikeout Calls Old TBS music ect .

Side Note : with Titus' blessing I posted my version of his Veteran sliders at my other veteran thread so If you like to play with Assited Fielding On like me check um out and I also adjusted Basestealing and fielding a bit .

All injuries look the same, you get a cut scene with them sitting on the ground in pain and the announcers saying "This is not good, we talked about how he was going to try and play through the hamstring injury before the broadcast but it appears to have acted up again"

They do that every single time no matter what the injury is, lol. For pitchers it's a little different but for position players it's always a hamstring injury.

WOW lowering user control has really helped me...I'm actually walking guys know, what a novel concept! this is my third year playing the show and i never thought of doing that

Yep thats why these sliders are so original and VETERAN is the perfect level to blend this game for me realistically , you know with out the game feeling overbearing .

I couldnt have did this with 09 as the sliders didnt have the same range/effect as this year and I like the distinction and difference in aces and 5th starters and of course the pitcher batter duels .

Yeah one of those years i wonder how your injuries compare to the rest of your league .

I do transactions and realtime MLB injuries in my rosters and you wouldnt believe how many guys go up and down on the IR in a 162 game season.
Sometimes I spend 3 hours a day fixing everything so if you were on 3 slider injuries all season its seems very realistic to me .

Just to let everyone know, I raise CPU contact up to 4!!

Just wasn't seeing enough offense from the cpu I noticed here lately. I had it at 5 to start, and instead of going to 4 I went straigh to 3. 4 should be ok...dorismary, what do u have it set at??
