Just played a few more games with Fld/Throw errors at 8 and im starting to see some as I use assisted Fld not auto.
All in all I really like how I struggle with lesser pitchers and teams very challenging .

I might have found what I've been looking for, veteran might be for me and these sliders could do the trick. Obviously I need to play more games but I've played 3 with these and here are the results.

Won a pitchers duel 4-2 with the Pirates.

Lost a wild one 9-7 to the Pirates. Was leading this game 6-0, 6-4 late but Saito came in and blew it in the 8th.

Beat the Phillies 2-1 in a pitchers duel.

I'm playing from the pitchers view with pitch speed lowered all the way down. I'm having a lot of success doing it (even though the run totals don't really back me up). I'm no longer struggling to get base hits. Scoring still is a challenge but I'm confident that will come with time. I'm just not getting the big hit yet, the game feels a lot better though.

I think one of my main problems before was hitting the ball hard and infielders reacting too quickly and gobbling everything up. With Fielder reaction being at 10 nothing got through the infield unless it was a rocket shot. I've already seen some balls hit in the last three games that got through that I know wouldn't have if I left it at 10.

I'll post more when I get more games in but so far I like them, again I realize it's only 3 games but I'm hoping I've found something here that fits my style of play. I never thought I could play on Veteran, I thought it would be too easy but that's not been the case in these three games.

My season might still be a lost cause, my averages are very low and it's going to be hard to bring them up. I'm still 9 games under .500 but oh well, nothing I can do about it. Just have to keep playing and hope I get on a hot streak.

Great to hear and its seems like more people are swallowing their pride and understanding Veteran Level if set up properly like Titus can a be very fun and challenging without the frustration.
Question do you play Assisted Fielding or auto ?
I have been testing assited fielding at 8/8 for errors and I thinks pretty good .
I noticed my last few games poor fielders now really struggle at the setting and if you throw the ball in poor situation youll get more throwing errors like on doulble plays where you have no chance or get taken out , not alot of errors but alot of neat unclean bang bang plays.

Cool thing I havent seen with any other sliders , I actually threw out a guy leading off 2nd on a WP by the plate , Soto me gunned down Holiday when he took a big lead after the WP by the plate !
It was so smooth and it was actually a great game ,Stl vs Cubs me , Carpenter vs Silva .
Stl got 3 in the first but the Cubs answered with 3 in the bottom with 2 HR by Lee and Soriano .
Well Carp settled down and Silvia was gone in the 4th losing 7-3 .
Well I got it back to 8-6 Stl and when I went to Pinch hit for Carlos Z with men on 1b and 3b the game froze in the PH screen after I warmed up 2 pitchers never had that happen before and I tried everything to get it to unfreeze but nothing would have been a great one ah theres always tommorow .

I play with auto fielding and auto throwing. I've seen a couple of errors already. I just love the animations auto throwing provides. Only thing that is somewhat annoying is on double plays the return throw is a lob and doesn't get back to the 1st baseman in time.

I also use broadcast cam and I have to tell you it is beautiful.

Ok Thanks just wondering , yeah Titus said errors were great at 4 for auto .
Yeah I would say Broadcast is the best view in any sportsgame .
I also play with offset when batting and pitching check it out what a view much better then looking at a backstop IMO

Awesome to hear bro! I agree, broadcast cam is the way to go in this game, especially if ur using auto fielding. I don't use auto throwing tho, but sounds like its pretty cool to watch other than the lob to 1b on a double play haha...

Ya, with auto fielding, 4 works great for errors! I dunno about for auto throwing, as I manually throw with the meter off, and have throwing errors on occasion.

You have baserunner steal ability at 7 cause you get caught to much, that slider is backward, set it at 4 then you won't get caught so often.

Not sure about that lol...I'm having pretty good luck with it at 7 right now compared to when it was at 5. You could be right, but not gonna mess with it right now

Dude i've been using sliders similiar to yours, for example i also use vet. difficulty, strike freq. @ 0, and CPU control @ 5, and CPU consistency @ 7, and i'm STILL seeing an insane amount of HBP's for my team...through 12 games i have 11 HBP's which over the course of a season would be WAY too many...it seems like i get at least one per game, and it's really starting to annoy me, do you have this problem also?

Not speaking for Titus but this is what I like best about his sliders !
I having played a better slider set that does wild pitches , pass ball and batters being hit is perfect IMO .
All I can suggest is play his sliders exact and then work from there as a tweak here or there can make the game play totally different.

Def don't have this issue...not sure what would be causing it for you either. But like dm says, play these exactly how i have them set and see what happens. tweak from there if u have too.

so how often do you get HBP's in your season? i played a game last nite w/ pitcher consistency @ 8 AND STILL got an HBP in the 1st inning, this is making me crazy! i was playing the mets and j.maine was pitching, and he looked off from the beginning he ended up beaning me twice in 5 innings, but it's not just him it happens every game, at the rate i'm at ill have 200 HBP's at season end

Use Titus' sliders exact and especially cpu pitcher and you wont have this issue plain and simple

lol, it's an issue with the game (code)

there is no secret slider combination that unlocks the "no hit batter" trick

they come in bunches...I've seen no hit batters for 10 games with Control/Consistency at 0, and multiple hit batters with Control/Consistency at 10.

It's more tied into the Confidence meter and the Control ratings of the pitcher...it's not a slider issue

I think a lot of people make claims without backing up with stats. I have a feeling that if you post your stats for once (with a screenshot), it will be a lot higher than you think.

i have pitcher confidence off, so maybe that's it? i don't know...that's weird what you say ParisB, that gives me hope that this streak may end at least
