How much run reduction are you seeing? Haven't been seeing any significant change there myself, except HRs are now 0.9 - 1.0 per game range instead of 1.0 - 1.1 for me.

I've been more patient these days and doing 50 games a batch, and my first 50 post patch I saw significant offense reduction. The next batch, it's slightly inflated. I think the difference is partly the rotation, a lot of #1 & #2 pitched in the first batch. So things may still even out for you as well.

I've been running games adjusting "speed" related sliders. Lowering fielder speed is fun though. A lot of variety in outfield plays. Also I want to slightly increase BR speed... Trying to balance XBHs.

have you noticed more walks since the patch? seems like there are a few more but maybe I'm just seeing too small a sample.

Nothing in the patch list says anything about it so I don't believe there should be any increase. But I've seen slight increase as well... not sure how that turns out over a long run though yet.

Anyone have any thoughts about sliders after the last patch? I am getting more walks and fewer home runs now, along with fewer runs because of the lack of wild pitches.

Any updates to the cpu/cpu sliders? I was wondering about injuries still. I had it on 10 and there was a minor league injury every game. I moved it down to 6 and know no major league injuries to my team for the last two weeks. I would be happy to see even a player having to leave the game after getting hit with a line drive to the body.

Still running games with slight adjustments, nothing major... I think I'll be using pitcher consistency 2 and strike freq at 5. I've also been revisiting power/wind combo since the patch was supposed to have reduced the wind effect. Not really sure if anything was really changed in the wind department, but as far as the stats are concerned, I can only reproduce realistic HR/G with power 4 and wind 3 combo so far with my current slider set. Thought if I could increase wind it might be fun to have a variance in park factor... didn't turn out that way.

As for injuries, that's something I haven't compared to any stats (I don't think there is any good baseline for this) and I turn injuries off while running my CPU vs CPU games. When I play games I have been turning it on, and with injuries at default, I don't feel the injury frequency is off... Looking at the slider comparison:

              http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2042297918

most guys have it close to default, so keeping it there would be reasonable perhaps.

(On the other hand, if you play RTTS and wants to get called up early, having injury freq. at 10 helps your cause by sending all the better players in your organization to hospitals and DL. Evil thinking... haha)

I've been playing with injuries at 10 in MOM and I'm seeing a good variety of injuries. I like it a lot so that's where I leave it. Sometimes I lose a guy for a few days but there have been a couple of times where I've lost guys for a couple of months or even the whole season.

I'm in August now in my franchise and I've had to make some adjustments along the way.

                I'm extremely satisfied though.

I'll post updates in my thread:

                    http://www.operationsports.com/forum...iders-cpu.html

I just finished a batch, so I'll updates the thread soon, but I have to take shower once in a while so I'm off to the bathroom for now... things are getting smelly here..

Besides what I mentioned in a post above, the only changes are mostly cosmetic nature... I posted the set to the slider vault (dated 6/3) so you can check it out there as well.

How long does a game you sim usually take? And, how are you able to sim so many games so fast? Takes me an hour and a half to sim a game. Is there a setting somewhere I should turn off? I know there is no one-pitch mode... 50 games would take me forever.

The fastest setting to use is as follows... In the presentation, use fast play. In the gameplay option, use "fast" for the pitcher delay (this makes a lot of difference!!). I think this is pretty much all you can do.

I wish EA's football games had this option.

I played a game with the slowest setting and I every at-bat was intense.

I would like that chess board feeling in every sports game.

Lol the game took ages to complete but I still love the option.

Yup. When I actually play the game (CPU vs CPU games here are just racking up stats) and have ample time to spare, I use "normal" to have a lot of time between pitches. That makes me better hitter, more patient, etc. It does matter...

There is no best slider set... each to his own. The reason why they look bits and pieces are that the rest of the sliders are all set to default.
