I assume these work for both All Star and HOF?

TNK bro, your sliders were great last year, and you and Psycho have already put together a solid starting set here. Really loving the hit variety this year and the analog controls in general I think are great. Keep up the good work boys.

Game played using the most recent update

I was Boston and I lost at Tampa Bay 3-2 in a great game. Good flow to the game and I feel that balls/strikes played out very well. Boston got a solo HR from Ortiz in the 2nd to take a 1-0 lead. Tampa rallied in the 4th and put 2 runs on the board for the 2-1 lead. Crawford drove in a run in the 6th to tie it 2-2 and then I cost myself a run when I accidentally hit the L2 button which caused my runner to try and steal home which proved to be the difference in the game. Tampa took the lead back in the bottom of the 6th on a Redi Brignac triple off the wall in LF. The Rays bllpen slammed the door shut in the late innings. I was very happy overall with this game and the enw sliders - ball/strike info is in the boxscore in the pitching section.

Thanks guys, I used Psycho's Sliders for the last 2 yeards and was waiting for you to release the new set

One question though: is "Human Pitcher Consistency - 6" geared towards classic pitching or should this also work with analog? Seems a little bit high...or am I wrong?

Don't throw a strike every pitch

Don't aim/locate every pitch to be a strike

Pitch to the corners or just off the plate and you will throw balls

Don't give in and groove one in a hitters count - continue to throw to the corners and give up a walk

                    You better be patient!!

That's the only way to draw walks and not strike out 12 - 15 times a game

Great sliders. How did you get the pitching data after you completed the game? I love the pitch count data.

                      thanks

You look at the Pitcher Summaries - you filter by individual pitcher and it gives you:

                        Pitches Thrown
                        Strike %

You have to figure out how many strikes by doing (# pitches * 0.Strike%)
                        Example - 100 pitches thrown 65% Strikes (100 x 0.65) = 65 Strikes

Because I'm terrible at hitting, I may try the Vet setting for hitting only. I'm traveling this week and won't get to test until later but if anyone tries this please post your thoughts, impressions.

Thanks for the work on the sliders. I enjoyed them last year.

Another question: Do either of you think the CPU pitching will be affected by dropping hitting to Vet? Not sure, but I'm thinking the ball/strike ratio may be different as the CPU as the CPU may "go easy" on us old folk using Vet for hitting...

Why don't you leave the settings where they are at and try hitting with "Timing Only" using the button. That seems to be the way to go this year

That's what I'm trying to do anyway
I just thought, that in the last couple of years pitcher consitency was lowered in Psycho's Sliders...I just checked it an am so wrong, it was at 6 last year, too

Closer and closer to default each year. That says a lot about this series.
Yep, Timing hitting meter pitching both on HOF for me, and you are right, closer to default all the time, does say a lot.

As for the walks, they are there, but you must show patience.
