Got to admit the default sliders play a really good game...and this is the area I've been looking at over the past couple of days...that said I have been tinkering with the foul ball and timing slider as per the suggestions in this thread...still tweaking and may go back to default tomorrow with the fielder speed down a click...we shall see...very encouraging out of the box though.

Newly Updated......I adjusted Contact to 4 and Power to 4 with the same settings. Playing great. Also adjust timing to 2.Last edited by DarkSith777; 03-07-2012, 08:45 PM.Comment

Liking these so far, confused on the change you made though. You said you put contact and power at 4 and timing at 2? On the first page it says you have timing at 4 and power at 5.Comment

Re: MLB 12 CPU VS CPU Sliders
Guys we CPU vs CPU players are a small fraternity. But we want realism and rather be Billy Beane than Albert Pujols. I am looking for feedback on this new set of sliders. Any would be appreciated. I must say I think these are right on now!Comment

Re: MLB 12 CPU VS CPU Sliders
Only thing I don't like is the insane amount of double switches I'm seeing. I guess you can't fix that with sliders though.
Using these sliders I swept the Astros. Scores were 7-2, 9-2, and 2-0. I'm losing 3-2 to the Brewers right now.
So I like the variety. What was your reason for going back to default?Comment

Re: MLB 12 CPU VS CPU Sliders
Yes, I went back to default for the hitting settings after various trial and error. I used actually the braves vs reds to test and kept restarting the same game over and over. The default does provide the best balance as far as extra base hits, and so forth. The real keys though to making these work I think is raising the strike frequency by pitchers and turning the API on. My main goal was getting the strikeout to walk ratios just right. With the API off the CPU hits too well and doesn't swing and miss enough. I love this game!Comment

As far as double switches.....that is something that a patch will have to fix. But I can live with that.Comment

Thing I love about CPU/CPU or the way I play (MOM) is your success or lack thereof is dependent upon sliders and player attributes. It's a lot of fun and a lot less stressful. I'm surprised more people don't play this way.Comment

Re: MLB 12 CPU VS CPU Sliders
Agreed. It's funny to me when people think controlling the players is realistic and are looking for realistic sliders. It is not! Each CPU player having his own attributes and strike zone judgement is beautiful. That is true simulation!Comment
