Not getting much feedback from people. Hmm. All I can say is try em and you'll like em!

I will say you are right about the pitcher API, it definitely makes a diffrence. I tried on and off and there is a diffrence.
You play fast! You play strong! You go out there and dominate the man you're playing against, and you make his *ss quit! That's our trademark! That's our M.O. as a team! That's what people know us as! - Nick Saban

I firmly believe this as well. I have tried to share this with other slider makers for CPU vs CPU and the notion was quickly dismissed by them. All I can say is whom ever is using these can enjoy their franchise now and not wait until June.

FYI, I'm changing difficulty settings while my runs just to address this issue. I'll try API on/off as well. I haven't noticed any difference caused by difficulty settings so far.

These sliders are great for MOM

I'm surprised more people aren't using them

I wouldn't be suprised if our sliders end up close to these. A couple tweaks here and there, but ultimately, they'll probably be very similar.

Just goes to show how great this game is at or near Default.

Out of curiosity, why isn't anyone posting their team stats or franchise updates?

I had to restart my franchise but I posted end of the month stats a page or two back.

Whoa. Bravesfan, everything looks really good. Why did you have to restart?

I was using single team control and I got frustrated with guys like David Wright and Carlos Beltran leading off and being unable to do anything about it. I also wasn't liking the trade logic when I simmed ahead so I wanted to use 30 team control.

Instead of restarting the 2012 season though I spent several hours simming the 2012 season, making and approving trades, and going through a full offseason.

So now I'm in mid April of the 2013 season. That way I don't feel like I had to start completely over. And now I have full control over everything that goes on around the league.

One other thing that bugged me, no big name Free Agents were available in the offseason so what I've decided to do next offseason is to take control of every team for the first 5 days of the offseason and make sure every big name player goes into Free Agency. Then teams will still have the ability to resign their players, only they'll be competing for their services with other clubs as well. It'll make the offseason more interesting.

This set is Final. I like them and consensus is they work well! Thank you everyone that has given these a shot. I know it's hard to trust the new guy in the forum but I actually have been doing this for a while but this is the first year I have a thread. I am not a big stats guy as far as sliders go. As I have said before I go by feel of the game. Once the "feel" is right the stats will come! But anyone who can post stats would be great. Braves fan has been supportive since the beginning so thanks Bravesfan! Enjoy your franchises guys!

I like to play my franchise with a fantasy draft! I like picking my own players and seeing how they fare.

Anyone that wants to follow Nomo's thread and philosophy on sliders should. It seems that some people dont like these more out of spite because I am not Nomo rather than actually trying them. So if you dont like what I have here and how I feel about API and difficulty then please this thread is not for you and you should just follow what Nomo is doing. But for the record I had these posted first and have not just copied what Nomo is doing. Nomo is great at what he does and I respect his hard work. But please don't discredit what I have here because you prefer Nomo's sliders and testing methods. If you don't like what I have here and can give valid reasons backed by gameplay experiences your feedback is welcome. But if you are just going to post negative comments based on my philosophy being different from his this is not the thread for you and you should just ignore it.

Hey, we aren't competing or anything (at least I'm not); we are just trying to help each other by exchanging feedback, because guys doing "test runs" take a lot of their Vita/PS3 time doing it... I only chimed in your thread because some info from which you are basing your decisions on were blatantly wrong based on what the devs have said about the game. And now I'm going as far as testing these myself, just to see it for myself and if what you are saying is true.

If that's not giving you a constructive feedback on what you are doing, I don't know what you want. You probably just want people leaving your set positive remarks regardless of what really is going on? I'm sorry I'm not here to do that then...

Besides, it's not like people prefer the way I (or other stats-driven guys) am doing. Just look at how people rate those CPU threads!! Quite a few haters for threads in which people are just exchanging opinions among only a few people! In fact, yours is the highest rated! That's the Internets for you.

I don't feel like we are competing either. And that post was not directed at you at all. We have been able to have some constructive friendly dialogue between us. Maybe there is somewhat of a difference from Vita and PS3. I don't know. I use PS3. You create your sliders by stats and I create mine by watching the game mixed with stats. It's all good. I am done with this for now as I am happy with the set. Maybe a patch could change it idk. But right now I am just enjoying the game!
