They are completely different sliders. I have Control lowered because I wanted it to be harder for the CPU to paint and execute pitches.

Consistency affects completely hung pitches and stuff like that, wild pitches too, and I didn't really want to lower that much. I feel like I already get an accurate number of meatballs, pitches in the dirt, HBP's, etc...

I like meter and am not changing but it is too easy to hit the mark. Doing it this way I am seeing around 65% strikes with variable umpire setting.
Im so fustrated AS is too easy HOF to hard but AS AI just so smiple they pitchers dont paint and the batters dont have enough discipline i need help

Pick a difficult view for pitching shrink the meter matter of fact don't use it at all for the release point and turn down Control and Consistency to 0. Those numbers are crazy high strike %'s. You are playing with variable umpire right?

So when playing on allstar everything I lowered CPU strike frequency to 4 since it was far too agressive on default, however since moving up to HOF I notice the CPU employs a much better, less aggressive strategy. I still have strike frequency at 4, but have noticed a lot more full counts and deep counts now and was wondering if the smarter AI on HOF would work better with strike frequency at default? Is there an mlb statistic for percentage strikes thrown when pitcher is ahead in the count?

What do you think of Starter Stamina at 7?

I agree that Reliever Stamina is best at 1.

I kinda like it, but I kinda don't.

If I had my way, I'd set Starter Stamina at 6.5

But since that's not really an option, and 7 feels a little too lenient, I just leave it at 6.

But 6 doesn't feel like quite enough either, so either one would work really.

                        Thanks.

If I leave Starter Stamina Ratings at SCEA Default, do you feel the SS SLider at 7 favors the pitcher too much? What are the positives and negatives?

Bobhead, just curious on your thoughts about errors? Especially since you have them above default.

On HOF, I find way too many routine plays that end up being errors. A good majority come from my third baseman sending the ball way over my first baseman or 2nd baseman trying to turn the easiest double play, under handing the throw to the shortstop which goes way into left field.

If what you are seeing involves errors only on your end (ie: the CPU isn't also making a high number of errors), then the issue is in your settings, not your slider.

If you are using one of the throwing meter systems, try lowering the difficulty level.

                            Or try not using one.

And based on your description it definitely sounds more like you are just having a high number of throwing errors.

I have turned the throwing meter OFF the throwing error slider is at 8 and I rarely if ever see an errant throw. Not at base put outs. throws from the outfield tend to be a bit offline depending on the player of course. I wonder if turning the meter off turns off the new throwing system altogether.

Hey Bobhead, what would be your suggestions for these sliders using pure analog no zone hitting. I really like the sliders, pitchers miss off the plate and make you be patient waiting for a good pitch to hit, the only thing is I sometimes just flat out miss because I dont really have that much control over where the PCI is going
