Wow. What a slider set. I plugged them in and it's a different game. I was growing increasingly frustrated with my inability to hit in my season on all-star. There's such a great balance in the game play.

The last game against the Yankees, it was tied 2-2 in te 9th. I had 2 outs and my Catcher Dionner Navaro came up and hit the first pitch out for a Game Winning HR... Then the first game against the Astro's, we had a 3-0 Lead into the 9th and my closer allowed 2 hits then a HR for them to tie. Finally in the bottom of the 13th Inning, Reyes got on and stole his 3rd base of the game, Rasmus got him to 3rd on a SAC FLY, Bautista with 2 Outs singles and drives in the winning run.

Loss my first 6 and now win my next 2. I really dont know what to do with Dickey, I just cant pitch with him anyone got any suggestions cause he is killing me right now, which sucks cause I like him, I singed J. Jurrjens as my long reliever and Buehrle has been my best pitcher.

I'm loving these sliders. The only issue I'm having is that the average CP middle reliver/setup man is racking up 30 or 40 pitches and staying in longer than one inning. Any idea how I can fix this?

Those look down right scary right now. The only big difference are the batting average, stole bases. As for batting average in real life I'm only 19 points above mlb average, but I'm at least 30 games from real life. As for stolen bases that is all me I'm not an aggressive base steal unlike the actual M's who love to run.

I don't know about you but I'm set for sliders and anyone the complains about anything just show them the stats. I'll keep posting to make sure you get your sample sizes but I thing you are set my man.

Tony, you have provided me with the best, most detailed stats over all of my testing. And I wanted you to know how much I really appreciate it. I've felt for ahwile that the sliders were pretty much set, with the only hiccup being Baserunner Speed/Fielder Arm Strength. I currently have them at 4 each, and I'm happy with the results. I know that you have them set a little differently, but that's the beauty of slider sets, you can adjust them to get the results your looking for. I really hope to see how your franchise plays out, so I hope that you will continue posting in the thread. Cheers!!!

Really appreciate the props, man. As a slider set creator who spent countless hours playing test games to get these as perfect as I could, it's very rewarding to hear somebody enjoying them as much as I have. Dude, losing your first six is tough. Looking at your boxscores, it seems like you just haven't got the bats going yet. Stick with it, because it seems like your pitching is keeping you in most of your games. You've won the last two, so hopefully you can get on a streak, and your bats will catch up to your arms.

I already have Reliever Stamina at 2, which is lower than what other sets have it at. Keep in mind, while Stamina will have the most affect on how long a reliever will stay in the game, their CONFIDENCE is what will keep them in the game, even as their stamina gets lower and pitch count gets higher. My advice would be to really try to work the count up against them. Make them work for their outs, and hopefully put some hits/runs together. That's the best way (IMO) to get the relievers out of the game. Also keep in mind, the CPU may leave the reliever in if the situation allows for it (i.e. the pitcher doesn't have to bat).

With all that being said, I'm still going to be posting my franchise games in the thread, but they may be on a more sporadic basis. As I've said before, I've played well over 100 games since purchasing the game, and I'm a tad bit burned out. I recently purchased Fifa World Cup 2014, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. It's a much needed break from The Show right now. Again, I will continue to post my franchise progress, but it won't be the marathon "4 games in a day". I'll probably play three or four games a week, at least until the World Cup is over.

Thanks to everybody who's helped in testing these sliders and posting their stats/boxscores.....especially Tonyfire. Without feedback, whether it's positive or negative, the set wouldn't be what it is. I encourage everybody to continue posting the franchise progress, as I will continue to check the thread several times daily. I try to respond to every post as best as I can.

The issue I'm having is that their confidence goes up just by getting the out it seems so if they have a clean inning and don't have to bat, they come out again which shouldn't be the case

Hey.. I enjoy pitching with Dickey... (I was going to say playing but on second thought no) anyways when using this pitcher its all about release point and location. If you are holding the button down every pitch till the end of his release trust me.. its like meat balls eventually the computer syncs in. Homer after homer. Dickeys game plan is to keep batters off balance so you got to work on your different release points. Knuckle. Change up and fastball. All different. Best of luck.

No problem any time. If you are using catcher suggestions my advice is to aim a little bit higher a little lower. That is what will make the difference. The knuckler doesnt go where u want it most of the time even when u are releasing properly. But that's the fun using Dickey. I check this thread once a day so let me know whats good.

Itbeme... I am using the hybrid rosters and to me I think your correct about ratings and what not. I am batting .240 with the jays.. batista has been gone for 2 months now with shoulder problems. But I thought EE would pick up the slack but he batting only .265 with 5 homers after the first month of april. Everyone is cold. Not a good look. I cant start over lol with the other roster..

Again thanks for the tips man, I cant remember the stats but the lat outing with Dickey went much better. Im doing terrible stat wise making everyone look aweful lol but I loss my first 6 games and then won the next 6, loss my lay one to the O's and now sit at 6-7, got the Twins and Indians coming up hopefully the bats will start to fly and I can go above .500

I am still using these sliders and started new franchise with my bravea using osfm v3 sneezy jays pitch edits. They are spot on. I took some time off I am 10 games in to a braves chise and I'm 5-5. And stuggling offensively unlike the mariners team I was testing with that I was killing the ball.
