Not sure about Veteran... I would probably go with what you're using, as the default (10) is way too high for Veteran. You will hit them out way too often. 8 sounds pretty good, but see your other thread for my reply on that inside pitch....

Catcher for batting, Pitcher for pitching, and medium for fielding.

Pared--I assume pitch speed is default, right? Sliders were tough through two games, but I like the challenge and the vastly different two games. About to play some more. Thanks again, man.

Thanks Pared for your sliders. Question regarding arm strength at 5. I still see too many infield hits so I raised it to 8. So at 5, your still able to gun down many runners?

Yes, Pitch speed at default (10).

Yes, but only with the better defenders. Jeter, Vizquel, and so forth.... I can make them on a consistant basis.
