Someone will have to take the Brewers this year... Brad and myself won't be able to work on them, can't find enough time to commit to do a good job.

Yeah, I can do contracts and get them done quickly and correctly. I will have a complete database of contract info for anyone with a major league contract ready to go by the time the game releases. It makes sense to input these contracts for SCEA players before importing begins and before the rosters diverge into "stock" and "hybrid." We wouldn't want to enter contract info twice and I can't imagine that fans of the "stock" or the "hybrid" roster would want to play with unrealistic contracts.

We can even experiment with youngsters to see if we can elongate their contracts at a miniscule salary to simulate having more team control--but that would need to happen after the importing of OSFM players. Maybe this would be best accomplished by the creators of each OSFM team. It's always been irritating to need to re-sign scores of youngsters with no MLB experience to MLB contracts or watch them go to free agency.

Depending on how we can edit contracts, meaning year-to-year or total and it gives us AAV. The best way to go about for year-to-year is go around 450K-550K for the top prospects in the first season. Second season around 750K-1MM tops and the ones around 1MM should be the Bryants and Buxton's. And third year around 1-1.5MM with the top end being once again Bryants and Buxtons.

Is it weird that my favorite part of the game is editing pitches? LOL.

Guess I'm just a perfectionist. I'm kinda sad we can't have everyones walkup music right anymore.

Hey everyone, I know everyone is very passionate about their team and their personal entry into this project.

Teeds has been working what seems like 24/7 to update the spreadsheet to help everyone out on rating your teams and players onto a spreadsheet that will have everything gathered into one spot - please use this as a base for your OSFM. While you may or may not agree with all the numbers, they are as accurate as you can get for any player with MLB experience, and pretty close for lower minor league players.

We are on the page doing updates most evenings - if you take a look at the sheet, please sign into Google and jump into our convo and state your case or send teeds, WTNY or myself your suggestions - we want this roster to be the ultimate in accuracy and continuity.

Willard i think you teeds,Wait and knight need to compile a list of roster creator and which teams they are working on.It should be posted on page 1 of this thread .So the viewers on this thread can be aware on who working on which teams.And also help they follow the rating spreadsheet so their want be any confusion.

So I think I'll help out this year. I'll take the Dodgers. I can do ratings if a player is in the spreadsheet. Someone will have to do faces Though. I'm not good at that at all. I'll also do the equipment for the players as best I can. Most of the minor leaguers will be difficult to figure out exact equipment, but I'll do the best I can.

Willard, Teeds, WTNY check out my Dodgers thread and give me some input if possible so I can make changes if needed. I'd like you guys to look at the list of players and let me know who stays and who needs to be removed. You guys can PM me if need be as well.

Many of the Dodgers guys from your thread we have rated and some will be updated still. It looks good from what I can tell. Some newer guys will have to be created. Take a look at the spreadsheet and share your thoughts.

As for faces, do you have a device that you could record video with? That way you can copy over the faces that we edited last year.

Hey everyone - an idea teeds brought up and I didn't think of until he mentioned it - with technology comes easier ways of doing things - such as copying faces - anyone who has an ipad, tablet of any kind - you can video your tv as you scroll through faces from last year's game and copy them that way - it is not quite as quick as tv to tv but it is an alternate

I had a tablet, but it crapped out on me yesterday unfortunately. I mean i can see what I can do, but I can't promise anything at this point.
