Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
Totte, glad to hear your backdating Williards roster once again this year. I just got done backdating Ridin's OSFMV2 roster and its a real pain to do, but I got it done.
I do have a ? for you as I keep seeing people worrying about playing with budgets off because of contracts messing things up. Seems Tabarnes and Ridin did some test on this with the OSFM which has some contracts changed, and they didn't seem to see any issues.
So are you doing something different than they did with editing contracts on the OSFM version that you will need to have budgets off to use it? I know is SCEA didn't change this from they way it use to be, that 30 the AI ran teams still will follow the budget. So do you know if that's still the case when playing with budgets off?
Thanks Totte, and looking forward to your backdated version of this roster, as I plan on doing 2 franchises, 1 with the v2OSFM that I backdated and then Williards roster that you backdate.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

The backdated release will be 100% real life contracts. No formulas or calculated percentages. I figured anyone who wants to change the contract values can do it themselves to a value they feel is appropriate.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
I have had some family stuff come up so I didn't have time to create the extras roster. That said if guys are looking for names and players or your favourite missing prospects - here is a list of the corrections I made. Any names in blue were changes made. If you are looking for the replaced player you can most definitely find them on the OSFM v1.

You changing contracts for all players or just some of the players? I know in the OSFM v2 they did contracts, but there were some they didn do because it would break FA, so I think on some they just made sure the years were correct for those that caused issues with FA.
I did read where in test that having contracts more accurate made for more trades thruout the season, where as the SCEA stock roster you wouldn't see enough moves thruout the season. I think it might have been Tabarnes who tested this out, and he didn't find any major issues with having cotnracts more accurate, like they did in the OSFMv2.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
Not sure if anyone actually cares for this, but I updated the potentials of every player and prospect on this roster using a professional scouting system.
There are now roughly 75 A potential players in the entire league (there were roughly 120 in the original)
There are now roughly 200 B potential players in the entire league (there were roughly 500 in the original)
This system adds value to A and B potential players and allows for more realistic progression of players as they progress through the minors, and at the major league level.
Players that are added to the league through the draft in your franchise will still need to be edited to maintain a balanced league once they enter the pool of player, but if you make those edits realistically there should be no issues with your franchise.
I uploaded the changes to the vault under the psn: Sheeks50.
Willard (or anyone else who finds this message), if you object to this post and the changes I made to your roster I completely understand I can take it down at a moments notice. I made sure to make it clear that this was an adjustment of your hard work and nothing proprietary of mine. Just let me know if there are any issues with this.
The base roster used, I believe, was 1.2 (the one without real contracts).
I did the Seattle/Arizona trade, and added a few players to the Seattle system (Gohara and Morgan). I also edited a few individual players that I thought needed slight adjustments (Segura, Carlos Gonzalez, Starlin Castro...and a few other Cubs). I also added Alex Reyes to the Cardinals since there were some St. Louis fans complaining about him not being in the original, and since he is their top prospect right now.Last edited by cts50; 06-07-2015, 10:37 AM.Comment

EDIT: I just put De Aza on the Red Sox and I am looking for a good player to add to Baltimore. They acquired Joe Gunkel from Boston but I cant find him anywhere.Last edited by cts50; 06-07-2015, 11:49 AM.Comment

All guys on the 40 man plus I'd say another 10-20 players in each organizationFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
