For those of you that are NOT using auto fielding you are all missing out on soo much stuff.. you dont see the animations they spent hours on, all the new player stuff... oh my god... i have seen plays that no one that plays manual defense could ever have dreamed of making...

I am only playing on Veteran/Veteran but still love these sliders for how they have changed the game on so many levels. I will say that i am far from the best hitter that has ever played this game but i think i am getting better...

i have seen my swing percentage in my last three games with these sliders go from 95 down to 83. which may not seem like a lot for some but for me that is huge... very very huge.

My first game i scored 2 runs and lost, my second game, which was a replay of my deleted game before it i lost 4-0. then i won my last game 2-0.

This is the first time i have ever really embraced any slider set since 08 was here. I am looking forward to a very challenging, sometimes frustrating (due to my lack of plate discipline) great season.

Two thumbs up on this set.. the only thing i adjusted was pitch speed back down to 5.

once again, thank you for your dedication to this game and your craft...
Thanks for the kudos.....yeah, auto field with manual throw is the way to go

Just what I noticed so far:
A lot of double plays hit into and errors by both teams
No XBH by me (a lot by the CPU)

We have had no substantial reports of these issues.......you need to work on gettting better first of all

            TNK,

Question about Dynamic Difficulty....does this effect the sliders in the future or how does it actually work?

I think I'm going to turn it off all the way off for my franchise - which my theory would be that the difficulty and sliders become static and player attributes, streaks, etc take over

Enjoying the box boxscores (along with TNK's), still using "zone" hitting?

                    TNK,

Hey man ive been using your sliders for a few years now but this year im not having any luck with variety of hits/outs. i seem to only hit routine fly balls or launched homers, every now n then i'll get a line drive double.

dribblers, dunkers, line drives just over the infield seem nonexistent. any help?

also when i hit a ball down the line past the 3rd/1st basemen, the ball never goes to the wall, IRL same thing is almost always a extra base hit...

dont take anything i say as negative, i trust your input and i'll listen before i think a switch of sliders are in order (which i dont change lol) thanks

                      TNK - RED SOX FRANCHISE
                      Game #1 of the Season

Boston Red Sox (0-0) @ Philadelphia Phillies (0-0)
Pitching Matchup - Clay Buchholz vs Cole Hamels

                      GAME NOTES:
The Red Sox got solo home runs from Pedroia in the top of the 1st and Ortiz in the top of the 4th to take an early 2-0 lead. Clay Buchholz was sharp early but got into trouble in the bottom of the 4th after back to back singles by Herrera and Utley but he bounced back nicely getting Ryan Howard to ground into a 4-6-3 double play and then froze Carlos Ruiz on a changeup to get out of the jam and send the game to the 5th inning with Boston leading 2-0. The Phillies left a couple men on base in the 6th inning as Buchholz worked out of another jam as the game would move to the 7th inning with the Red Sox leading 2-0. Cody Asche thought he had a solo HR in the top of the 7th down the RF line but the umpires went to video review and ruled it a foul ball as it hooked just in front of the foul pole. Asche would eventually strike out and Buchholz would get pinch hitter Andres Blanco to fly out on his 99th pitch of the game to end the 7th and strand another runner to finish off 7 shutout innings from Buchholz and send the game to the 8th inning with Boston on top by a score of 2-0. Robbie Ross came on to make his Red Sox debut and pitch the bottom of the 8th as Philadelphia had a string of 4 left handed batters due up and gave up a lead off single to Ben Revere. Odubel Herrera was up next and Ross got him to ground into a huge 4-6-3 double play and then got Chase Utley to ground out for the 3rd out to send the game to the 9th inning with the Red Sox clinging to a 2-0 lead. The Red Sox got a lead off single from Ortiz in the top of the 9th and Brock Holt came on as a pinch runner. Pablo Sandoval came up with one out and got himself into a hitters count and lined a fastball from Jeanmar Gomez in the gap for a big RBI double as Holt would score all the way from first base with a big insurance run to make it 3-0. Xander Bogaerts drew a two out walk to give the Sox two men on base and Mike Napoli would pinch hit for Hanigan as the Red Sox had a chance to extend their lead and add some more insurance but Napoli would ground out to end the inning and we would head to the bottom of the 9th with Boston leading 3-0. Napoli would stay in the game taking over at 1st base and Sandy Leon would take over catching duties for the bottom of the 9th as Red Sox closer Koji Uehara came on looking to record the final three outs and earn the save. Ryan Howard led off the inning by grounding into the shift to Pedroia for the first out and Carlos Ruiz would ground out for the second out bringing up Grady Sizemore as the Phillies were down to their final out. Sizemore hit a hard groundball to the left side but Bogaerts would make a nice play to field it on the backhand and fire a strong throw across the diamond to Napoli for the final out as Uehara pitches a 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th to earn the save as the Red Sox win 3-0 on Opening Day

                      * The Red Sox start the season off with an exciting 3-0 victory on Opening Day 2015

                      * Clay Buchholz looked good in the first Opening Day start of his career. The Phillies were able to manage 7 hits off Buchholz but he was able to work out of a few jams thanks to some timely strikeouts and good defense by his teammates. Buchholz threw 99 pitches in 7 innings of work as he struck out 6 and walked 1 batters on the day to earn the win

                      * Cole Hamels pitched 6 quality innings for Philadelphia and held the Red Sox to just 3 hits while issuing a pair of walks and striking out 3. Unfortunately for Hamels, he made a couple of mistake pitches and paid for it as Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz each took him deep for solo HRs. Hamels took the loss as he had no support from his offense in this one

                      * Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz each hit solo home runs early in the game and Pablo Sandoval added an RBI double in the 9th inning to provide the offense for Boston in a game where they managed just 5 hits

                      * Boston got some quality work from the bullpen as Robbie Ross and Koji Uehara slammed the door shut in the late innings.

                      * The teams will have an off day tomorrow before resuming this season opening 3 game series with Rick Porcello set to make his Red Sox debut against veteran Aaron Harang who will get the start for Philadelphia

Try a couple games with solid hits at 2

I'm going to give my franchise 5 to 10 games before I consider touching anything......there playing great for me right now

TNK, I would like to applaud you for sharing your Camera view while batting. This has changed the game drastically for me. I can actually read pitches, and can react to off speed stuff more. A lot less guessing going on, and a lot more reacting to what I see.

How are you hitting HR's? I've played 5 games and only had 1 with Big Papi.... Are you using the power button to do it?

I swing with X 99% of the time......see the ball and hit it

Sounds like you need to improve at hitting, being selective and swinging at pitches that are good to hit.

Overall.....keep practicing and focus on being a better hitter

I used these sliders as a base for my pure analog hitting and pitching sliders. If you use the pure analog controls and don't button mash send me a psn message and I'll upload them. PSN BLADESofSTEEL27
