Sometimes it's eerie how "unrealistic" moves end up being scarily realistic.

I remember in M13 when I was doing my franchise, RG3 got dumped from Washington. At the time it looked crazy. Fast forward to 2016...RG3 got dumped from Washington.

I don't think there was that many bad trades but wait I remember these:

Mark Teixeira to the Angels; Casey Kotchman and Minor Leaguer Stephen Marek to the Braves

Randy Johnson to the Astros; Freddy Garcia, Carlos Guillen and a player to be named (John Halama) to the Mariners

CC Sabathia to the Brewers; Matt LaPorta, Zach Jackson, Rob Bryson and a player to be named later (Michael Brantley) to the Indians

Fred McGriff to the Braves; Vince Moore, Melvin Nieves and Donnie Elliott to the Padres

These are just some that stand out but there has a lot more, so when you look at the trade just remember that anything is possible.

Sorry to jump off topic with the sliders, but with you mentioning it allows to jump to other teams, quick question. If you do single team and get fired, do you get a couple other teams (usually bottom dwellers) who offer you a job?

This is my first foray into single team franchise with GM goals so I don't know what happens if you get fired.

With 30 team control GM goals are turned off. And you can be any team you want anytime.

Armor was the trading slider re-worked in the patch? I am seeing no trades through 50-60 games so far. I hope the bump to 8 will help. I also am going to change to match your 2.5 set. I had so many issues with 2.0

Armour, love your sliders. I have been using yours the past few years. However, I am having a brutal time with my relief pitchers this year. I am the Rockies and I am 17-13. Six of those losses have come from blowing a lead either in the 8th/9th inning. Some of those leads have been by 3+ runs. I know the Rockies dont have the greatest bullpen, but some of those guys are rated in the mid 70s and low 80s. I was playing last night and was up 7-3 going into the 8th, only to lose 9-7. Im sure some of it is human error, but Chatwood went 7 innings giving up 3 runs/6 hits/5 ks/2 walks and then it just feels like as soon as I take my starter out, I am doomed. I havent touched the sliders yet, but just wanted to see if other people are having these issues.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders

Just wondering, with the new patch out and AI bullpen logic fixes, have the sliders for pitcher stamina for this set been affected? Thread here http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ch-1-04-a.html

Currently away from my PS4 so I really can't do testing. Just wondering maybe someone else can or is currently doing it. I know Armor has starter stamina on default for Sim games but does it affect the CPU's team starter's stamina when we play against them (assuming that I play every game of my franchise)? I might try to put all stamina siders on default for the next few weeks of my franchise when I come back.

Anybody's input on this will be much appreciated. Thanks

EDIT: Just tried playing one game with default stamina sliders and didn't like it. Going back to OP numbers.

All I know is that I played a franchise game last night (Pitt at detroit) and Jordan Zimmerman pitched a complete game 152 pitch, 7 hit, 7 walk, 5 k shutout against me. I was so frustrated with that outcome I had to turn it off. On a small sample it seems to me a case of over compensating regarding the starters being pulled. Going from the cpu pulling in the 5th after allowing 2 or 3 runs on say 6 hit with a moderate pitch count to that Zimmerman result. Yikes.

I might have to do some more testing after all. The only problem with me testing it is I use a NL team and pitchers are being pulled for pinch hitters all the time, obviously. But I'm in a stretch in my Franchise where I play @TB and @TOR, so this might be the perfect time to test the sliders on default. We'll see how it goes.

I know I'm going to try my next one tonight with default stamina especially since I'm playing with the DH again. I just can't help but to speculate if +1 for cpu stamina took it from zimmerman being finished somewhere in the 6th or 7th at most since he had a little over 100 and 5 or 6 walks regardless of shutout vs where he ended up. Again I'm just speculating at this point but I have a bad feeling they over compensated with pulling starters with runs dictating everything.
Honestly though the most frustrating part was I got the first two men on in the 9th with a single and walk and thought NOW they have to pull him. Nope, a k and two fly outs ended it.

I get what you mean. I, too, have wondered if the +2 for user and +1 for cpu starter is too much for guys like Kershaw who has a 99 stamina rating.

In the game that I played (with default stamina for SP and RP) against Archer, he gave up 5 runs on 7 hits on 79 pitches and he got pulled after the 4th inning down 5-0. If I was the AI, I don't think I would have taken him out, but that's just me.

On the other hand, I was pitching with Kazmir until he had to leave due to an injury after 3.1 IP. So I put Blanton in (my LRP, 75 stamina) and he ended up going for 4.2 IP on 67 pitches. I'm not quite sure what to make of this since Blanton used to be a starter anyway and he was pitching a very good game.

So I guess like all things baseball, it varies. Sim stats are almost close to perfect at default, so I will be testing this more for played games. I know almost all sliders here cater to the old bullpen AI but with the recent tweaks, I'm eager to see the results for played games.

I always have to turn throw cancelling off because I am a button masher, so I can't use that lol. I wish the throw cancelling button was R1 or something instead of double tapping the base
