Love these here sliders! I never would have thought that turning off pitch location indicator and PCI would be so much fun, but I'm really enjoying it now.

Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

      Updated to v1.11.

HoF hitting solid hits at 9 (or 8). For AS solid hits 6 still.
      Human pitcher control at 1
      Human pitcher consistency at 3
      Outfield fielding errors to 7

Guys, if you square it up, you'll hit HRs w power at 0. I promise.

I'm loving v1.11 on HoF. Thinking this might be my sweet spot for a bit.

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '17 Sliders

Lost the series finale using v1.11 to the Mets by a score of 8-7. We were down 3-1 in the 8th until Bour hit another clutch (pinch hit) HR in the 8th to tie it at 3. We then gave up 4 in the 11th, and crawled back to within 1, but lost.

          We're now 5-7.

          Mets BABIP .243
          Marlins BABIP .333
          1 HR for each team
5 BB for Mets in 43 AB
4 BB for Marlins in 42 AB
          4 2B for Mets
          3 2Bs for Marlins
          1 error for each team
Ks were low today--5 per team.

Mets 58% strikes, 57% first pitch
Matz 54% strikes, 61% first pitch. 7 IP, 105 pitches
Marlins 59% strikes, 55% first pitch
Chen 58% strikes, 48% first pitch
          6 IP, 90 pitches

          Mets 15% foul balls
          Marlins 15% foul balls
          Mets 17% misses/strikeouts per swing
          Marlins 19% misses/strikeout per swing

As I improve my PCI, keeping an eye on swings that result in misses.

Caught up to the real life schedule now, and will play at Seattle later today.

Hey Mike, big fan here and rarely play this game without implementing your sliders (with my own tweaks). Thanks for the hard work, quick question have you ever tested anything on Legend settings?

V1.11 is really holding up well for me. Lost 4-2 after Kyle Seager hit 2 HRs off of me, including a 3-run shot. Left my SP in one batter too many on that second homer (had a lefty warm!).

You'll see animations and defensive saves that are otherwise unavailable in manual fielding. If anyone wants to debate that (I know you were just asking), go check my Twitter

I'm loving the all star gameplay (for reference I'm on
                        HUM contact 5
                        power 1
                        timing 4
                        fouls 4
                        solids 6)

I had a 13 hit attack against the padres last night but poor clutch hitting meant I only scored 3 runs (including a solo shot in the 10th by Freeman). In my other two games I've seen doubles, triples, home runs and singles - it's been great.

However, I have only struck out twice (both Bartolo Colon) in 3 games on All Star. I wasn't striking out much on HoF, but last night, in my 13 hit game, I didn't swing and miss once...in fact, my BABIP was actually a v respectable .308, because all of the outs I made were made on balls in play! Struggling now with the idea of going back up to HoF, but potentially back to feeling like I'm never a threat at the plate, in order to get some swing and misses, vs All Star, but knowing that, if I'm patient, I'll basically never strikeout...

First paragraph really shows the quality output--we're seeing games with HITS and not always tons of RUNS. That's very nice to see, even on All-Star.

Second paragraph, yeah that was exactly the issue I was having. Since switching back to HoF with solid hits at 9 for user, oh my goodness it's been absolutely perfect.

You guys play on default 5/5 pitch speeds?

I can't time the offspeed stuff to save my life. I started my real franchise last night and decided to use these sliders and forgot to move the offspeed speed up to 7. I Kd 18 times. I'm VE on almost everything changeup or curveball and then behind good fastballs coming off those.

CPU Babip was .318. Mine was something insane because I only put 9 balls in play.

The crazy thing is that I'm a patient hitter and work the count. Even when I move offspeed up to 7 I normally strike out 10 times per game.

The one issue I note with these sliders are that the CPU pounds the zone on 0-2 and 1-2 counts. I haven't compared this to actual pitch sequencing in MLB but I tend to get caught looking when I attempt to lay off the pitches I think are low because they pump in so many strikes. I do agree that first pitch strikes are perfect however.

Finally, fielder speed looks great, love it. 2-3, somewhere in there is perfect.
