Human pitcher control +1 to 1
Fielding errors outfield +2 to 9
Fielder run speed +1 to 2
Fielder arm strength +2 to 5
Baserunner steal frequency +1 to 5
Wind +1 to 5

Also, check out this Mother's Day Massacre using a slightly tweaked v2.2! The AI is destroying me lately, and it's a miracle we won today!

Awesome though that my top pitchers can still shut it down.

Hey Mike,

Are you going to start a new franchise when 2.5 comes out? I'm on the 2nd game after the All Star break with my Pirates franchise playing every game. I plan on starting a Red Sox franchise but still play at least one game a day with the Pirates to keep them going.

My second game of the day played on v2.2.

Long ball was the story for me. Again, all star directional hitting for me.

Definitely not. I'm not someone who frets over equipment or a perfect roster. I much rather enjoy the pacing of the season and deal with the trade deadline etc at the exact time it's going on in real life.

Was really enjoying v2.2 AS IS. Felt that "IF" I were to stray & make a few personal adjustments, Human pitcher control, fielder run speed, fielder arm strength & base runner steal frequency needed an incremental boost...

You / v2.3 hit me with the preemptive strike... Nice! Nothing wrong with a few teaks here & there as we go, but I really don't see much more for you to do here

Hate bringing letters "IRL" to video game forums but I was 8-22 in a Royals franchise, struggling to string rallies together (sound familiar?), had been in every game & would probably be closer to 15-15 had I played more to WIN vs accumulating player stats... Now, I've won 6 of my last 8.

If I could lend any advise to struggling players, it would be to SLOW DOWN. Wanting to blow through a 162 game season, I'd be 6 innings into the game I was playing & already thinking about the next game. You REALLY have to focus on the situation at hand here, be patient & run up pitch counts on both sides of the ball...

Mike i have to say love what i am seeing with the sliders.....but i have to ask have u noticed that the game seems like when ur winning that even if u make the perfect pitch it puts the cpu back into the game like they always tie it up seems like maybe its me just wondering if u had noticed this

Hey Mike, I wholeheartedly appreciate everything you’ve done with sliders, I cannot thank you enough for this. Anyway, these are from last match, Astros (me) vs Tigers (cpu). For the record: i tried manual fielding, everything went ok (maybe too many pop-ups than before).

Was this Adam Jones catch on manual or auto? I can not rob homers to save my life I wish their was a rob homer drill

Here's how the game works. . .
With "umpire close plays"?TURNED TO ON

There will be moments in gameplay where a close play will happen; the game with que a cutscene with the manager and give you the option to Challenge (Square) or cancel.

So that's what happens; if evidence is compelling enough calls can be corrected. I've had this happen about 10-15 times in my time playing and I've never seen them make the wrong call.

When it is turned off; the umpires are like robotic ; they have the ultimatum. They don't make mistakes to my knowledge. They make the right call 100% of the time.

So really it's just a option For immersion if the ability to challenge blown calls excites you; then the ON option is for you.

If you like precise no mistake umpire calls OFF is your option
