For example, the sliders I work on may work fine for people who use Directional for hitting and Classic/Pulse for pitching at All-star level... but for other interfaces and difficulty level, your mileage may vary.Comment

Re: Stats-Based CPU Sliders [MLB 17 Version]
I think it would depend on which interface (zone, directional, etc.) you allow in your franchise and the skill level of players involved, so there isn't a clear-cut answer to that.

if this helps any

I would go for Directional hitting and meter pitching

Re: Stats-Based CPU Sliders [MLB 17 Version]
If your league is "strike-only" type of league, you cannot expect certain aspects of game to play realistically... (i.e., walks in particular). So I assume that you'll be making compromise on those.
I don't know what difficulty level is, but I can only make a concrete suggestion assuming it'll be on All-star.
Personally, given that the skill levels of players are unknown, I personally would just start with Power 4 and Wind 0 or 1... because HRs is really an unrealistic thing that needs help from sliders to fix. I'd say this is a must for this year's game (until a patch drops).
Other changes I would say isn't as important, since the changes introduced by slider adjustments are likely to be much smaller than the difference in skills levels of players in your league. You need to watch how the league plays and make adjustment as you see fit I think.Comment
