I lost 2 minor league 1B in the course of a week. I went to sign a minor league roster fill free agent to a 1 yr 70K deal and it put him on the MLB roster and added him to the 40 man. Now I dont sign from the free agent pool often during the season, but is this common? If he got a minor league deal, shouldnt he have went into AA or AAA and NOT been added to the 40 man? Or is this why you just dont sign free agents during the season?

When you sign a guy, try making sure you have your team roster on AAA or AA. Otherwise, if you have it on MLB, they'll be put there. That's how I've always got a guy on a 'minor league' deal.

Thanks. I will try that if I do it again. I don't normally sign free agents during the season, but I really couldn't put together a worthwhile trade.

That usually works for me, but you also may need to have a full 40 man already. It's hit and miss for me.

Just played a hell of all star game! With a dramatic ending. It's on my twitch if you want to check it out. Armors sliders and gameplay are just awesome and at the break stats are spot on (realistically) imo. Tight races and overall good franchise. You have to play out over the long term. No way to judge these sliders in short term. Extremely impressed with these. On to the second half of the season. Can't wait to see how these finish out.

Just to show how unpredictable and awesome these sliders are.
After a wow ending to the AS game. First game after the all star break, Kluber comes out and has a perfect game going into the 7th against the rebuilding Rangers and then it happens..... A hit...... NO, a walk..... NO....... Klubers hip gets to him and he goes out of the game. Now Hand comes in and throws 2 shut out innings and with Otero only needing 2 outs to end the day, the 3 combine for a perfect game. Kluber upset about losing his perfect game, is even more upset after having to be put on the DL. Shouldn't hurt his cy young season though as he is well in contention for it. What a sweet/bitter way to start the second half of the season.

My first ever in any iteration of MLBTS! I've thrown a no hitter a time or two, but never a perfect game. Now I have to do it with one pitcher lol.
It was so exciting and heartbreaking at the same time. 1 out in the 7th and the trainer message pops up about his hip. Which I'm glad it was a realistic type injury and not a "hit in the head by a pitch" or something like that where the ball was no where near him. Really brought out the realism of an intense moment. Definitely one to save in the highlights on twitch. No one will ever be able to tell me this game isn't realistic. The storylines, my franchise, everything put the way it is. This franchise will never die.
I usually start fresh every year and kill my previous franchises. Not this one. Between the all star game and this game just proves how impressive your sliders are. I had some real doozies of games, but these 2 so far stand out. Funny, I almost didn't stream them and was going to just plug along like I have been. Glad now I did.

Apologize if this has been covered in previous posts...but one major issue that happens a lot for me is when I am batting, line drive rockets hit right back at the pitcher that hit him, the pitcher immediately picks the ball up and throws me out, or the ball richoshets right back to the catcher or infielder for the out too. And every single time it happens, the pitcher stays in the game. I hit a 106 mph line drive that hit the pitcher in the stomach, and he stayed in the game.

any way to fix this? turn fielder reaction time down? or is it just a glitch in this game that i have to live with? Other than that, these sliders are AMAZING.

Nothing to do with sliders. Game design. There is nothing that can be done.

But to be frank since I play all 162 in my franchises it is not as excessive as some may think.

It is truly insane......amazing how things go in different franchises right? But remember.....I started this file on MLB 17 and the Braves simply had no patience...as did the Rockies who were horrible in year 1. They blew up their team except for Arenado who wants out now as well!!!

Crazy stuff.....and I love it.

Once you drop your final update on your Hybrid roster I will start a brand new franchise on 18 as well. I just need to pick a team....going National League most likely too. Please let me know when you upload it...you can post here when you do my man.

Hey I appreciate the kind words Forme.

I am going to give a full off-season update this week on the World Champion Yankees this week on the OP. I am so invested into that franchise I am going to go ahead an start my Spring Training and get into Year 3 soon. I am also getting into my Fantasy Cards franchise again. Highly invested in that team too.

I am simply hooked on 18 more than any previous version of this amazing game. The sheer amount of variety is incredible. Even after playing a few hundred games....I still see things for the first time in terms of defensive plays, hit variety, animations. It is simply mind boggling.
