So I am playing as the Yankees in my franchise. I play every game and use Quick Counts. I follow the sliders exactly. Even the pitch speed. I was going to report the end of April stats but I need some help if I need to make any adjustments if any. My strikeouts are low but I am striking the AI out at a good average. I am debating on putting pitch speeds at 5 to get some more strikeouts but I don’t want to mess up my other stats. I have a good BABIP at .290 so I could live with the strikeouts.
Avg
Human: .274
CPU: .255
My batting average is a little high for the Yankees. The CPU is about average.
BABIP
Human: .290
CPU: .298
Strikeouts
Human: 122 (5.3 per game)
CPU: 190 (8.3 per game)
I feel the CPU strikes out at the right pace. The league average is about 8-9 per game in real life. I would like mine to be a little higher.
Extra base hit %
Human: 10.2%
CPU: 8.7%
I am good with my percentage but the CPU needs a little bump.
Homeruns
Human: 31 (1.3 per game)
CPU: 31 (1.3 per game)
I think that’s par maybe a little high.
Walks:
Human: 3.3 per game
CPU: 2.6 per game
I am happy with the walk numbers for each.
Hit Distribution
Singles: Human - 62.9% CPU - 65.8%
Doubles: Human - 20.7% CPU - 16.3%
Triples: Human - 1.9% CPU - 2.5%
Homeruns: Human - 14.6% CPU - 15.3%
Everything is in line with the league average in real life. The only thing low is the CPU’s doubles. I would like for some of the homeruns to be doubles.
So I am really really happy with the results. I am having a good variety of games. I beat the Blue Jays 10-6 one game and lose 2-1 the next game. Two things I want to work on is my strike outs and the CPU’s extra base hits.
I am trying the pitch speeds at 5 for both but I don’t want to have more soft contact being late. I don’t know if that’s just in my head cause it’s coming a little faster. But I don’t want my other stats to drop by trying to raise strike outs. What about lowering timing by 1?
The CPU needs more extra base hits but no more home runs. Do I raise CPU solid hits by one? But their average is right there so I don’t want to mess up anything else.
