If you are using contact swing with 2 strikes, obviously it could potentially cause that i suppose. But I'm assuming you're not...

How many games are we talking that you've seen this?

Are you certain you are looking at the foul percentage when every item on the list says 'ALL'?

If you are looking at foul percentage with the bottom option set to 'Swung' you should have numbers at least closer to what you are describing.

With your numbers that high on 'ALL', I'm curious to see how high the number is on 'Swung' since it would have to be close to 60% I would think.

30% foul balls would be around 44 foul balls if you see 145 total pitches. Which means if you swung at 50-ish% of total pitches, lets say 73, you would only put the ball into play, or swing and miss, 29 times.

If you swing and miss 20% (15 times), that would mean you're hitting the ball fair only 14 times all game long. Since there are usually 27 outs in a game, seems like you would be striking out at least 13 times, or hit into multiple double plays, if most or every ball in play became an out.

Also if you have a perfectly average .300 babip, with these numbers, you would only see just over 4 base hits per game, and your batting average would be abismal.

If by chance you are only seeing 100 pitches per game, these numbers will even worse.

There are other ways but i doubt you would have stuck with these sliders more than a couple of games if that scenario took place.

Can you post some actual numbers because its hard to know exactly what is happening.

You're obviously seeing something that doesnt feel or look right to you, it doesnt mesn you are doing anything necessarily wrong, it may just be a slight slider adjustment you need, so hopefully we can help out.

But first of all make sure youre looking at 'ALL', not 'Swung'...

It looks like when looking at it under swing results that my foul ball percentage is too high for both how can I fix this?

Those look absolutely perfect. I don't see what the issue is, but either I am misreading your problem, or perhaps you misinterpreted the first post?

Planning to stream my Opening Day game of the 2018 season in about an hour.

I'll also do a quick examination of how the bullpens seem to be used, as we can learn a lot just by looking at one day of simulated games.

Yes at minimum. If anything, you are on the low end of the MLB average but those numbers look really good to me.

18% were fouled off of total pitches in MLB in 2017 (i believe) = "All" foul%

And actually if you wanted to get picky, you would like to see even higher foul ball per swing - between 35% and 40% fouls per "Swung" which would be about right range of fouls per game if you see 145 pitches per game if you swung at the major league average of about 47% of pitches.

But to me those numbers look really good , and i dont see a problem at all. You may just have misinterpreted or misunderstood something. Looks good.

Ok thanks guy I appreciate the feed back I do have one more question are any of you experiencing like 1 to 2 random innings where it seems like you cant get the CPU out and they just light you up for 4 to 5 runs? It has happen to me about 7 times now seem like it only happens when I am leading but never when we are tied maybe it's just me but I was curious

It has happen to me about 7 times now seem like it only happens when I am leading but never when we are tied maybe it's just me but I was curious

I’ve had the same issue but I switched up my pitching sequence and it seems to have helped

Well I sometimes I pitch corners and if I notice they seem to let on me I see what the catcher calls and either pitch to the arena it suggests or a little adjustment depending on where the place is

Like something I’ve realized is take the hints lol like if they start getting you like a couple batters change some things or if your throwing a lot of balls or walking like 2 In a row mound visit and try to change some pitching placements
