I may do that actually. Do you suggest real contracts or default?

All of the worry last year about real contracts was unwarranted, and I've had a great experience using real contracts in my carryover Marlins franchise.

For simming purposes, does anyone else set up every team's bullpen like below?

Just thought I would post some CPU pitching stats with the Original Version 1.0 CPU pitching settings of this set:
                    CPU Control 5
                    CPU Consistency 5
                    CPU Strike Frequency 5

Through 36 games, controlling every team at least once:

                    Strike % - 64% [MLB average 64%]
                    1st pitch strike % - 62.7% [MLB average 60.2%]
Wild pitches - 14 (.39 per game) [MLB average .37 per game]
Hit by Pitch - 4 (.11 per game) [MLB average .34 per game]

Just posting this if it helps. Combine them with your own, if you want, etc, to get a larger sample size.

                    Any thoughts?

I’m not seeing any trades in April. Is that normal if the trade slider is on 1 as per the slider set or should I expect at least a trade or two?

The game goes nuts with trades at default. You typically don't see teams making big moves (or any moves other than minor) that early in a season.

But you can also just adjust that slider to your liking. I think too many trades are ugly AF, so I tend to keep it low, at least until the game balances what is has versus what it was given from RL (if that makes sense).

Only 4 HBP, really? I see a lot of them it seems (had like 5 in a series against the Mets which was odd, but it happens). One of the reasons why I bumped them up to 6 (but then lowered strikes down to 4 to counter balance).

I'm liking what I see so far, but haven't calculated that sort of exact data yet. I'd be curious how this latest version works out for you.

Yeah only 4. I keep track of it all very closely. I do think that it is probably lower than what these settings will represent over a larger sample. Just a few pitchers that have a wild game can bump that number up fairly quickly. I've had games in the past like you that had several HBP in one game. I look for that number to go up, based on what I've read people say here.

I'm going to leave it the same though for a few more games and when I switch to the new version I'll see how it does. I really like it for now though.

The only thing I would like to see drop a bit is first pitch strike percentage. Which could be accomplished by the changes you suggested? That number might come down by itself as well however.

I have the setting at 1 and actually so far (8games in) there were two minor trades completed which I thought was cool
