With the White Sox? Who was the starter?

That's damn impressive for any player to do, let alone the ChiSox, since Rodon is their only starter with a K/9 even over 60!

Lopez started. He finished with 9 K’s in 4+ IP. I did get lit up after a terrible error in CF by Tilson and they pushed across 10 unearned runs in the inning. Lopez had 4 ER by the end of it all. I believe the final was 18-15. Absolute slug fest when it was all said and done. Other pitchers was Burr, Herrera, Bummer, Fry, and Minaya. Normally I struggle massively with Lopez and striking guys out, but I changed the way I went after hitters. I use meter, and rarely used max effort this time until the 4th.

That is just absolutely crazy that you are getting these results.
Are you taking pitches at all, I mean really taking them?
Play a few games in which you don't ever swing at a pitch until you get a strike.
It will lead to a bunch of hitters counts.

Whats crazy is how I just thought last night how every game plays so different for me.
The 3 games I played after my 24 run explosion I scored a total of 6 runs.
Last night I played two slugfest vs the Cubs, I won 12-11 and lost 13-10.

Yes I take pitches. I have my moments where I swing at BS, but I do get into good hitter counts. I had a game where the opposing starter was in the red on energy 3 straight innings and I got guys on but couldn't hit them in. It's infuriating. I have no idea how people score runs with the lowered sliders after the last patch. I'm struggling with them still at 6.

So the funny thing man is that I went to Armor OP settings over the holiday weekend. Mine were a little different and I thought with solid hits on 4 that I would struggle but I have been on fire since the change. Give it a try. Armor you are a slider genius. But we all know that

That basically happened to me when I went from all-star to HOF. I was having the issues I have now on All-star so went to HOF with the logic being that's what Armor plays on so he likely does his testing on HOF. I'm scared to death to drop them to the OP considering my issues. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I can't score much less lol.

Gave this a try. Final score 10-2. Guess who had 2? Definitely not the CPU. So not only do I get another game with 2 runs, my pitching takes a crap. Worst pitching game I've had on the game. I had only 3 hits. I got into plenty of good counts and had their pitchers pitch count in the 80s by the 5th. It didn't matter. The game felt the same way it did with the sliders higher. The announcers kept saying I had hit nothing "particularly hard". I've never, EVER struggled like this on a sports game. That 2 run thing has me wanting to check my self into a psych ward.

I know you said before that you use the power button in hitter’s counts. Have you tried just using the normal (x button) on every swing? I never use the power button cause when I do try it I never get anything from it. I think when you do use it your pci gets smaller so maybe you are missing a lot more meatballs from using the power button?

Yeah I've seen others recommend not using it. Problem is I've only ever hit one home run just hitting X. Everything is weak so normal swings actually feel like contact swings. I'm getting ready to try another game with the exact op sliders except I'm lowering fastball pitch speed 1 tick. Pitch speed is the only thing I haven't really messed with. I'm desperate at this point. I love the game, but I can't keep playing feeling like there's a force field 200ft into the outfield.

I'll start trying it that way. I've never hit more than 2 in a single game.

Do you use the left stick to influence your swing in hitters counts? If I have a pull hitter with power at the plate and I’m ahead in the count I’ll use the stick to pull and aim up to attempt to hit a fly ball. I’ve hit plenty of home runs this way just by using the X button. I rarely use power swing.

Just relax when you're at the plate tell yourself to hit the ball to the opposite field. There is no doubt you're pressing and probably way ahead of alot of pitches. That approach helped me get out of my slump.

I've used the stick from the beginning, but I currently playing a game without using it as someone previously suggested. Top of the 6th I have 3 hits 0 runs.

I'm trying man. I'm trying the lower pitch speed thing because I'm 42 and I thought considering that maybe I'm not seeing the ball as well as I think I am.
