Yea, the beach here in the panhandle is unmistakable. I live in the north of Okaloosa County but go to Destin every weekend......go to Panama City Beach once a year for a 'staycation'.

Since I sent this I've pitched 3 great games. LoL. Ignore my rants. The game is great.

I am so annoyed with myself I have GOT to get better at pitching.

I was doing really well for a short time and now I'm getting shelled again. I have a really good pitching staff and they're all hovering at an era over 5.

This is the most fun I've had playing MLB since 14. They really hit the nail on the head this year.

I can almost guarantee the guys complaining in that thread are not playing late Sept games in franchise.

I dont know what it's been for the month of Sept, maybe player fatigue from a long season, but I have had some of the toughest, but most fun games I've played all season.

Majority of my Wins or Losses in Sept have all been close, tough as nail games. Even games where I end up winning by 3 or more runs felt completely earned.

I'm one to read the threads in the main forum n just truly question if I'm playing a different game than other people lol.

I havent had as much fun in a sports game as I've had in 20 in years. To the point where if I dont play at least 1 game a day I feel like I'm missing out.

Please exclude me from that "pissed off grumpy old men, get off my lawn horse ****" group to whom you were referring. A ballgame can breakout on my front lawn anytime, as long as I get to play.

I really don't have a word to describe how I feel about this game, kinda like saying "love" is good enough to describe what I feel for my wife of many many years. This game is the only thing keeping from having a breakdown because of how much I miss baseball.

F&$@ the complainers, just keep playing ball. Keep streaming too Armor, I love dropping in to watch you play and chatting baseball.

They expect a particular outcome
They expect a particular stat output
They expect their input to be a 1:1 correlation to the output (which is absurd for an RPG)
The expect it to match real life

Personally, I have no interest in playing a game where my expectations are fulfilled. I want to be surprised. I want things to happen that I didn't think could happen. That means I lose games I should win. That means I win games I should lose. That means my pitcher hangs a pitch at an inopportune time. That means my OF drops or mis-plays a ball. That means I have a game I slug 4 HRs (after going 5 straight without hitting one) - that literally just happened to me.

Letting go of those pre-defined expectations is the first step towards gaming bliss and many people will never get past that.

100% agree to a T. I feel like 20 has so much variety in the games I play, I honestly don't expect an outcome....especially my last few weeks of games. The games I've played have been phenomenal.

They feel like Sept baseball games, where every win or loss(3 games from locking the Division) matters. Every at bat or pitch matters. Makes me feel like I don't know what to expect in the Playoffs at all.

Having that story play out, and having Harper close to winning a Triple Crown and slightly in the hunt for the HR record, I've never had as much fun playing the Show, and also feeling like every game played is what I want out of the game.

I feel bad for those that are not enjoying the game in the same way.

This has been my unfortunate experience there as well. Absolutely thrilled there's places here to go for fantastic conversation about the game, rosters, sliders, strategy, etc. It is much appreciated, by myself, and countless others.

I recently went through a 3 game homerun drought myself.. and my hitting sliders are all default except for foul frequency at 4.. still scored 3 or more in each game. then game 4 I faced DeGrom and went hitless until the 5th.. hanging curve to Dansby-gone, high and in slider to Albies-gone, low and in fastball just under the zone to Freeman-waaaay gone, then Riley blasted a high fastball to straightaway center. Went from down 3-0 to 5-3 real quick. won the game 8-4. Also, my homeruns have slowed down in May and the Yankees passed me and tied me in doubles.

Do you guys think/know if the CPU is affected by shadows?

I just had my first 4pm start and about the 3rd inning on when the pitcher was in the shade it was pretty tough to pick the ball up.
