First game of the season went about as well as expected for a game in Baltimore, the only thing missing was a Gleyber bomb.

Our bats came out of the gates on fire and never let up.

I can confirm that Gerrit Cole is, indeed, not human. The dude was unstoppable after an Austin Hays bomb in the first.

Gonna chalk this blowout up to a combination of playing the O's and having Cole on the mound. Sliders are playing great, Armor!

New patch should fix the stats glitch.

I’m 9 games into my franchise. I’m tempted to start over since they fixed the star displays. But I’m not sure yet. Glad it is going to be fixed. They didn’t say anything about the audio but hopefully that will be fixed.

Patches will normally update in franchise for things like the stat display. No need to restart in most cases

Swing/Pitch info will now not display when selected “off”.

Is that the pitch display we all hate? I hope so [emoji1696]

It is, and I can confirm that it no longer displays. Unfortunately a couple more display problems took its place. Now that the pitch type and speed no longer appear over the catcher after each pitch, they’re also not appearing on the scorebar display. So you don’t see the info anywhere unless you turn it back on. And even worse, now a ring appears around the fielder who is making the play, even with auto-fielding turned on. So annoying.

Awful. Just awful. Patch is a failure for clean screen players.

My frustration is this was never an issue before (except MLB 14 that blue ring was there as a design decision then removed).

Why break options when all of it functioned properly for years upon years upon years.

                  My god man.

I also noted the patch notes stated there was some adjustments to hitting and pitching. Anyone tested yet? I’m about to fire up my first game.

The blue circle while fielding looks atrocious and not having pitch speed available unless turning on pitch types is quite annoying.

I’ve never used auto fielding. So is anything changed for those that field manually?

The only thing I don’t like here is that we’ll have to turn on pitch feedback to see mph.

This is my first year doing clean screen and I had finally fallen in love with it. Holy cow is the blue indicator just terrible. The pitch speed doesn’t really bother me, but this blue indicator is awful.

The only thing I don’t like here is that we’ll have to turn on pitch feedback to see mph.

It doesn’t appear anything fundamentally has changed. But the blue indicator is now on even for auto fielding so it looks awkward.

Crowd noise is bugged. Playing Opening Day and the crowd noise completely disappears at times then cuts back in.
