It doesn’t appear anything fundamentally has changed. But the blue indicator is now on even for auto fielding so it looks awkward.

That sucks for those that use auto fielding for sure. It doesn’t affect me but I empathize with those that are not happy about it. I have some particular things that I don’t like here and there that aren’t a big deal to most people, but it’s always important to have as many options as possible for the user to accommodate play styles.

Hopefully they get it back to normal in the next update.

Also of note, I know The Show is coming to XBox starting next year, but I’ve also heard it may come to PC. If this is the case I would would be excited about the mod community.

Crowd noise is bugged. Playing Opening Day and the crowd noise completely disappears at times then cuts back in.

This was on release. Please notate when it happens and file a bug report.

I have been talking with a dev about this and they are trying to identify what potentially triggers it.

Thats great news. I hardly ever find things in the Show that bother me that much, but the blue circle in auto fielding just absolutely kills the immersion for clean screen fielding.

Sometimes patches can reset profile settings a bit. Unless your results suggested otherwise, just assume you were on your assigned difficulty and carry on.

(I highly recommend people double-check their profile settings before they begin playing)

I really think it depends on your team. I really do. I have no power with the Marlins. And I am majestic with my Year 4 Yankees.

It is about the ratings. And they play true over 162. Trust it.

But like I said....I have a few options on the OP for power and timing settings that should be able to let people find their “happy” zone.

I don’t have a problem with the ring around the defenders. I hardly notice it

What I do have a problem with is trying to contain my sanity playing all 162 games with my orioles. Through 8 games my team ERA is 8.24 and have a batting average of .214. There have been 0 bright spots to this point on my team.

It is, and I can confirm that it no longer displays. Unfortunately a couple more display problems took its place. Now that the pitch type and speed no longer appear over the catcher after each pitch, they’re also not appearing on the scorebar display. So you don’t see the info anywhere unless you turn it back on. And even worse, now a ring appears around the fielder who is making the play, even with auto-fielding turned on. So annoying.

Son of a nutcracker, well I submitted bug reports for the blue circles and the pitch speed no longer appearing on the scorebar.

After all my testing. I did start my Sluggers "Marlins" franchise and only have 2 home runs through 6 games but my team has zilch for power.

Jorge Alfaro and Corey Dickerson have my lone homeruns. Loving the gameplay with these sliders. I am getting a lot of doubles and manufacturing runs. Such an awesome experience but I may need to add a power bat or two.

Well yes.. I understand that... But if he DOES choose to take off, I don't always get the player yell that says he is stealing so it's a free SB against me.

I just played my home opener. Beat the Jays 14-2 LOL. I hit five homers! Of course, I am the Yankees, and that stadium lends itself to giving up tons of bombs. 5-2 now on the season!
