Yeah so I take photos on my phone of the box scores and then input them into the sheet. It’s a bit cumbersome obviously lol, but I love having the sheet and being able to easily access all the splits.

I’d love to keep it in google docs, but yes as you said, the vast amount of formulas used is just too much for docs—and I have to use Excel.

Also, this SS is not my creation lol. It’s above my pay grade for sure.

End of month stats are a joke. It just adds the precious months stats onto the current month. Chapman appeared in 35 games in July. Nelson Cruz had 48 RBI in July. Stats in a baseball game should be way more accurate. For being a first time player of this game I initially loved this game, but it’s getting harder and harder too when it can’t count basic stats

This isn't a complaint thread or an impression thread. This is a slider/franchise thread. Take this garbage somewhere else.

We have slowly started to fall off and I decided to pull the trigger on a new arm before we fall way back and won't be able to stay competitive . At one point we were 33-17 and had a 7 game lead in the Division , now the Yanks , Rays and Red Sox have all caught up and we sit in 2nd place .

So I sent German Marquez and a Prospect from the 1st years draft to Oakland in exchange for the Lefty Sean Manaea . And what a awesome debut it was , he was lights out striking out 9 in 8 innings but unfortunately for me Reynaldo Lopez was just as good for the White Sox and spoiled Manaeas debut . Lopez went 8 full innings and tossed 120+ pitches! Great battle to the end , and Sean Manaea is a beast . Hopefully we can get back to winning ways with his addition to the the club .

I'm guessing Marquez was under-performing? That's the only way this deal makes sense from an outsider's perspective.

Well I grabbed him early on in the 1st season and I just struggled to like him and his overall feel of pitching if that makes sense . I just didn't like the feel of pitching with him , we just didn't vibe overall . Kinda wanted to get rid of him right away but u can't just make a trade like that and trade him again right away . So I had to finish out the 1st season with him and decided to give him yet another chance in season 2 , and he was 2-6 with a ERA of over 4.50 and couldn't pitch in the big games . The Yankees and Red Sox would just crush him each time , it was ridiculous . So when I seen that the A's placed Manaea on the trade block I didn't hesitate . Also just really wanted another lefty in my starting rotation , and after that first game with him i know this guy will work out and live up to expectations . He felt so smooth and dominant , really awesome pitcher

I know most couldn't care less about how other franchises are going, like when people talk about their kids, pets, or fantasy team, but I just had to share my once-in-Show-career run right now.

I don't think I have every played a game with Reds, but my magic spinner landed on the Reds when determining who to run with this year. This squad is so fun with many defensive combinations and a fairly stout pitching staff.

Out of the gate I wasn't doing poorly, but in my last 18 games I'm 16-2. I can't shake those darn Cubbies who are hanging in there about 5 games out.

This slider set is so simple but hits a sweet spot for me.

I thought about doing the reds, but I have such a Indians connection it’s hard for me to not use them every year. Reds do look super fun to use this year.

That makes a lot more sense now. Especially after learning of his big game futility. That could certainly be a deal breaker. Sounds like he needed a change of scenery.

What a game I just had.

Midweek 2 game set with the Pirates in the Bronx. Cole handles them game 1 with ease, thanks to 2 HR and 5 RBI from Judge.

Game 2. Sevy pitching into the 7th. He’s tired, but I’m trying to hold on to a 2-1 lead and get him through the inning. Routine ground ball to Torres at short, he throws it 10 rows into the stands. Man on 2nd, 2 outs. I bounce a curve in front of Sanchez two pitches later and runner takes off for 3rd, and Sanchez throws it to the tarp in left field. Tie ball game. 2-2.

FFD to bottom 12, still 2-2; 2 outs. Making his first home start of the year due to spring injury, none other than 36 year old fan favorite, Brett Gardner. He hits a 2-1 heater to right that bounces off the top of the wall for a walk off HR.

                        Yankees 3 - Pirates 2.

                        I love this game.

Yup! This and the Franchise thread are the only thing I follow. It's insane how little we had to sway from the mean (default sliders) to get awesome results this year.

Those fielding errors sure can snowball. The challenge of pitching through walks and errors is one of the most fun parts of this game for me. Real deal simulation baseball right there.

I’m the same way when it comes to the Phillies, but I recently started a franchise with Oakland and am enjoying the change.

Looking forward to starting a new Phillies franchise in ‘21, though.
