Yeah work sucks when I know the show is sitting home all alone. Lol. Hurry up 5 o clock.

Long time lurker here. I've been playing default HoF since launch and I'm really impressed how well it plays. I like power at 5 right now . I would say im avg around 1-2 hrs a game. Most I've hit in a game is 4 (did this twice) and I've had at least 3 games with 0 hrs. Sample size is around 20 games. I'm always hesitant to lower the power slider over the years bc I feel like it hurts guys with lower power stats way more than it does guys with higher power. It felt too difficult in past titles to hit a hr with a guy below 50 power.

This! Agree with all of it. Playing on default HOF right now and having a blast. Agree with the statement about lowering power and feel that at five it plays just fine. I will say lowering user control as Armor stated a few days ago is a good idea. Not in terms of walk’s issued or throwing meatballs over the plate but to be able to get deeper counts from the CPU hitters. I feel I’m routinely throwing about ten pitches a inning.

Exactly my observation. Pitch counts were too low for the Human side and I was having far too many “easy” low stress innings.

Since I moved human control down to 4 that has changed and for the better.

And solid hits at 4 is absolutely money for opening up the hit variety to it’s highest potential without sacrificing good wood as well.

As I said earlier, the game is incredibly balanced out of the box much like the great MLB 20. Such a massive return to form for SDS on MLB 22.

It is the greatest sports game I have ever played. I can’t stop thinking about playing so this week is going to be absolute torture LOL!!!!

I guess one thing good about testing positive for covid is that I have a lot of time to play the crap outta this game!

I struggled mightily with ‘21 before giving up on the game early in the season but I am happy that the game we all know and love is back for ‘22 and better than ever.

The new commentary team, crowd audio that reacts appropriately, and the sounds of the ball off the bat and when it hits the glove are all welcome changes.

I started a new Phillies franchise and am currently sitting at 3-4. The first series at Houston was a playoff atmosphere already with both teams battling. I won the first series in extra innings 5-4, lost the next game 4-5, and won the finale in extra innings again 7-5.

Next was a two game series against the Nats and I wound up losing both games, which were low scoring affairs. 0-1 and 2-3.

I am currently tied 1-1 in my series against the A’s. I lost the first game 1-0 and was getting nervous since my bats had gone cold the last three games, but wound up winning game two 10-3 with multi-homer games from Harper and Castellanos.

The gameplay across the board has been phenomenal and it has been great to witness the ebbs and flows of the game over just a handful of games, so I can’t wait to see how a full 162 game season plays out.

The Phillies have struggled a bit early, but hopefully we can end the playoff drought with such a talented team this year.

I'm rolling with the Phillies for my secondary franchise, doing the classic play 1 sim (quick manage) 5. Trying to get at least three seasons in for this cycle and hopefully go deep in the postseason by the end of it. Really like this team this year and we're 7-1 so far. Coming for Cohen...

Team plays beautifully with this game and this slider set!

Streaming live with Slightly modded OP….

                        CPU/HUM Power - 5
                        CPU/HUM Pitch Ctl - 5

I’ve also recently gone back to using meter pitching. Pitching was getting kind of boring for me and this has really freshened things up. Ratings absolutely matter as well as I rarely actually get a perfect release. I also really enjoy how the perfect release spot gets bigger as your pitcher gets consecutive outs and builds a rhythm. I’m also using timing hitting instead of directional as I rarely use the directional mechanic.

When running 30 team control do I need to set sliders separately for CPU teams or will the sliders cover all 30 when I load them up?

Just went extras in Houston with the Yanks. Cole was dominant and left with a 2-1 lead . The pen blew that and they tied it up at 2 in the 8th. Yanks went ahead 3 -2 in a single by Torres and I preceded to give up the tying run in the bottom of the ninth again. Hicks hit a 2 run homer to give the Yanks a 5-3 lead. Good right, nope my bullpen has been taxed playing my third extra inning game in 4 games and I blew that lead too. There were a few terrible calls by the home plate ump where I felt I struck out the last batter twice. It was not to be . He hung in there a got the game winning 2 run double. What a roller coaster. That one stung! Not going to lie.

Sounds like you should call up a reliever for the next game to have a fresh arm in the pen.
