Thanks for your reply. Maybe I’m just imagining this, but it does seem that there can be a very slight delay from when I press “x” and the batter swings. I can have early timing and swing just late on the same swing. But not a big deal I guess

I’m not going to hijack this thread and turn it into a debate, but for those of you on the fence about ‘24, I’ve played 2 games with these sliders and they both felt great.
First game I got off to a hot start and was able to hold off a comeback. Game two I went down early, we pulled neck and neck, and I was able to secure the win on a late home run from Harper after several tense at bats.
The beauty of this game is that no matter if you’re playing ‘23 or ‘24 you’re being spoiled.

Ready to start a franchise on ‘23 for the current season. Which roster set should I use? Mr. Met last updated on March 2, but I see other rosters updated as soon as yesterday. I DO NOT want a set that adjusts player ratingsYankees modern day

Re: Armor & Sword/RaiderRen’s HOF Clean Screen MLB 23 Simulation Sliders (PS5)
Maybe a dumb question but…
I play 30-team control. I control lineups/rotations, 40-man roster and roster moves for the cpu teams, just to keep an eye on things better.
If a player is struggling, would the cpu team send him down to the minors and call somebody up, or would I have to do that?
For example a starting pitcher has 4 or 5 bad starts, could the cpu send him down?
ThanksYankees modern day

I don't know. I'm behind fastballs and ahead of breaking balls. I'm also chasing stuff all over the place. Hitting has definitely changed, at least for me.Comment

Find your wheelhouse with the pitch speed sliders. That is a custom user preference setting. Nothing else in the slider set up is affecting that.

You have to have “Roster Moves” set to “Manual” if you want them to handle call ups and send downs. If you have “40 Man Roster” set to “Manual” the CPU will use what you give them as far as the 40 man pool for the major league roster. If you change “40 Man Roster” to “Auto” the CPU will do whatever it sees fit.Comment
