Is MRMET2488's March 2 rosters still the way to go, if we are sticking with '23?

I haven't seen anything else with any traction..

If so--are any major moves needed for these?

I’m using BostonRob’s - very good roster IMO. Just before opening day

Will give it a run when I resume playing this Saturday.

This week we are in Raleigh NC watching my son play college ball.

Quick question, for roster control using manual lineups with 30 team control, will the AI make substations for fatigued players, or will it always use the exact same lineup for every game (baring injuries of course). Thanks

FWIW I have increased SP stamina to 4 for simmed games, and might move it up to 5 (default). I’ve only played 3 games in my official franchise, (played and simmed quite a few games waiting for an opening day roster from BostonRob) but even at 4 I’ve seen several quality starters pulled way too early. For example, Braves beat the Nationals 4-0. Strider is pulled after 5.1 innings giving up 1 hit, 1 BB and 4 k’s.

Baltimore beat Boston 1-0 and Burnes (stamina 82 I think) didn’t get the win as he was pulled after 4.2 innings after giving up 2 hits, 0 BB, and 5 k’s. Yes, I don’t know the number of pitches these guys threw before being pulled, but it still seems way too early when they seem to be pitching well.

I know too many complete games in simmed games was an issue before, but I think even with this slider at 4 it is too much the other way.

Is anyone else seeing this?

OP says 7/7, but I think on one of your recent streams, you said you were at 8/8.

I tried the retro cam (for in-game offense/defense).

I luv it....excellent change of pace (from broadcast cam).

I think I am going to use it for all away games, and stick with broadcast cam for my home games.

Has anyone else been using these sliders for ‘24? I switched to a different set, but they haven’t been working well at all for me lately.

They work well, I just lowered solid hits to 4 for both teams as I felt there were too many home runs for my liking.

How is this set holding up for everyone?

Still playing really solid for me.

I like that the offensive sliders aren't too overpowering, and there are still pitching duels to be had (which I prefer).

Though, nothing makes me happier then when the CPU blows my doors off, and puts up double digits runs (especially against #4 and #5 SP's.

Holding up well for me too brother. I am 47-45 in Mid July with the Yanks. Just had a wild 15-14 win at Coors field. Cole gave up 9 runs and 4 HR’s. Went down 5-0 and stormed back to take a 9-5 lead . The Rockies came back to tie it twice , once at 9-9 and then 14-14 before I scored 1 in the ninth and held them scoreless in the bottom half. One of the craziest games I have ever played

Hey have you guys figured out how to get strikeout number up around the league? SOs are too low but I’ve used the hook and SP energy suggested sliders to help with complete games and it’s worked well but can’t figure out strikeouts

Since sliders don't impact simmed games (other than SP/RP staminas, hook, injuries and trades).

The only thing I think you could do to get K's up around the league would be to individually edit player attributes., e.g., pitchers k/9, batters vision etc.
