    Timing: 5
    Solid Hits: 5

With user control and consistency at 5. And we are going to try more default fielder sliders.
I agree with the 6's here. The default hitting is very good this year. All it takes is one misplaced fastball to see just how the CPU will punish mistakes.
    Very pleased with the gameplay.

Everything is more balanced this year out of the box.

Lets hope that the first update doesn't ruin it.

Finally got a chance to check these out, and what ya know, already revisions
I tested the original settings with cpu contact at 6 while power was at 5...the only other change I made was fielder speed I moved to 4 as well as fielder reaction to 4.

I then took my Dodgers to Anaheim to take on the Angels...and what I thought was going to be a nice solid beat down, the Angels hung tough but I was able to squeak out a 6-5 win in extra innings.

The Dodgers got off to an early 2-0 lead thanks to a 2 run bomb from Teoscar Hernandez and while it looked like the Dodgers were going to cruise in this one, that certainly was not the case.

Glasnow was sailing with 9 SO's, feeling he was starting to get a bit gassed, I pulled him in the 8th, then the damn Angels caught fire...lmao

It took everything I had to hold on to this one, they even had Trout at 3rd just waiting to come in and tie the game yet again, but it was not to be as the Angels flew out to left to end the game.

It's only 1 game so far, but what I'll probably do is not input the most recent changes quite yet, with the lower OF reaction and speed at 4, I thought everything played out real good.

Now I'm not saying I'm NOT going to make the changes, but I'll obviously play a few more games and see how it goes.

I do like that there aren't and drastic changes, and everything is "hovering" around default, that's a testament to a finely tuned game.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Sounds like a good game. Yeah, I’m really hoping we can keep power at 5 and lower the fielding to 4. With power at 6, the ball just comes off the bat too hard.

I do not own the game and tbh not sure when or if I will this year. If the cpu still swings and misses too much I can't buy it. Regardless, I know once college football is out, my sports video game time will be on that. Plus fighting for liberty on helldivers [emoji1787]. Just not enough game time to get baseball in as much as I'd like.

This was not a easy game. 3 of my runs came on solo home runs. I also turned 2 double plays

I got out of a big jam in the 8th. I struck Soler out looking with 2 men in base. It was a questionable call and I got lucky.

Game was MUCH closer than the score would indicate.
I didn't really hit much past the 4th inning.

Sorry. I’m using Classic and directional. I’ll put the full settings on the OP soon.

All good, thanks! If you don't mind, why use classic pitching? What's your strategy with it? I've tried to use it in the past, but it seems random. However, pinpoint (which I like because it's similar to MLB 2K) is way too accurate.

Classic goes by the ratings more than any other setting. If you have a lower rated pitcher, it will be tough to hit your spots from the ratings. I have used meter a couple of times in other seasons and I feel like you will eventually be able to be too good at it and always hit the green. And you’ll do good with any pitcher cause you’ll be good or perfect timing on the meter or pinpoint. But I get that some people want to have control of that. It is probably the most boring setting n if you can hold the button down long or short to control the effort.

Does anybody understand the catcher signs in 24? It looks like they’re toying with pitch com behind their glove and no longer flash fingers for certain pitchers :/

Yeah they are using pitch com. I use catcher suggestion so I don't really see or notice the fingers. I wish they would somehow coordinate pitch com in the game. Maybe like vibrations will tell you what pitch they want.

Really wish the CPU logic was fixed when it comes to lineups and bullpen management. Every year it's impossible to do a single team franchise, unless you don't care about teams having horrible lineups. Complete games can be worked around, lineups only with 30 team control.

Could it be that many of us greatly underestimated SDS and they produced a jewel of a game?

I am really enjoying the game so far. The presentation is just phenomenal. When you hit the ball hard off the bat you hear the roar from the crowd. The announcers will say 2-1 game in the rubber match of the series or tie game in the 3rd game of the 4 game series. Little stiff like that makes this game so much better.

Yeah, they can always improve logic. But that is something that was bad for years. So it’s not fair to knock 24 for that when it was the same for the past 5 plus years. I haven’t went through and looked at lineups yet. So I haven’t checked if it’s worse or better from last year.

I started using classic with these Sliders a couple of years ago and it gives you a better experience or let´s say a more realistic one. Your input is not that important, ratings and confidence is. Sometimes the ball goes to completely different directions and your give up walks or HRs. If you want to have more to say, this is not your way of pitching.
