Should I put power back to 5 ? It seem like user hits are very weak

They are better than last year. It doesn't cause all the K's. It still is not as good as it was in 22 when they would minus one pitch per AB. So the pitch counts are a little higher before they get tired.

Yeah, I would go ahead and put power back to 5 if you are seeing that.

Does the CPU still throw enough balls to draw walks on All Star with the CPU pitcher Control at 5?

That’s a good question. I will check it more tonight. Steve plays on Allstar but he uses quick counts. I’ll play some games on Allstar and see what their strike rate is

You could lower contact back to 5 for another option.
Thanks. I'll try that and report back. Yeah, just one game.

Yes they will. They still pitch the same way as they do on HOF or even legend. Just your "invisible" PCI is slightly larger.

The only difference is the contact is at 5 and timing is at 0.
Fantastic. I was going to ask for a suggestion. I had to move down to All-Star hitting. But I was getting too many hits I think. That should work

I went down do All Star with these sliders, because I got rocked by the CPU, it was so frustrating. I played between 5-10 games and they had more than 10Ks per game, my green swings were either groundballs or strikes (Balls into the middle with hitters like Betts or Freeman). No homers, no fun at all. I know this can happen with slumps, but there was no point in playing, as I couldn´t do anything against it.

Now I get between 8-12 hits again, much less SO. However, CPU is still throwing well, I have speed at 8, so this is also making it a bit harder. I would try that at first, when you think it gets to easy. Even try 10.

Comeback programming has ruined this game.
The CPU literally steals the game from you.
Your guys start messing up in key situations.
Every time you get a lead the CPU predictably starts coming back on you.

The CPU basically nickels and dimes you to death.

Then there is a broken animation for the right fielder where if you miss cutting off a ball they automatically fall down when there is no reason for them to fall. Ridiculous.

Now that I have played the game I see that it has major programming issues for franchise that they either didn't discover or care to fix.

The comeback programming is so blatant and utterly ridiculous that it ruins the game.

If you go on 3K Gamings Discord he posted a directional hitting guide that has completely changed hitting for me. It tells you how to use it based you're hitters tendencies. I'm seeing a lot more hit variety.

I won't call it that, but 100% the cpu seems to get an artificial boost when there are two outs. Not every time, but pretty close. I've learned to never trust the pitcher who got you the first two outs lol

I’m noticing in a majority of simmed games the starter isn’t even going 5 innings. Bidee for CLE has thrown 8.2 scoreless innings…. In 2 starts. Is manager hook 10 too high for simmed?

You can try 8 or 9 and see if that helps. I'll keep an eye on it too.

I'm still getting daily "So and So and thrown a Complete game Shutout" on the ticker. Maybe I need to check that I have the Sim sliders set correctly.
