So I swept the Pirates and have won 6 in a row. Played the whole series at 9/5/5/5/4. So have 6 games with these. It is hard cause I’m pitching with all these high confidence pitchers and the team is hot. The next series is against the Orioles and they are the 2nd best team in the league behind me. So that will be a good test for me.

Takeaway: they had 11 hits and 4 of them were gap doubles. Not enough singles and they did not hit a lot of groundballs. Only 24 in the series. But that just might be a cold team cause the Dbacks had 44 groundballs in their series. They didn’t really put much of a threat against me. I’ll play smoother series against the Orioles. Even though they are the 2nd best team they are coming in losing 5 straight while I won 6 straight.

That sounds like you played a team in a bad slump. It does happen.

Last night I shut out STL in STL with M Soroka as my starter. He's been unhittable for a while now. So I think its a combination of a hot streak for him, and STL is in the midst of a cold streak. This is why when dealing with sliders, you have to play a LOT of games to get an actual read on whether or not they seem correct.

Yeah, I played the Orioles last night in game 1 and it felt fine. They scored 5 runs on 11 hits.

The Dodgers have won 12 in a row and have clinched the division. We are now 105-41.

Played every game with the 9/5/5/5/4 and it felt really good. Am going to update the OP.

The Pirates series is still dragging their numbers down but the other series has been good.

Are the SDS rosters worth using with these sliders? From what I read it seems the Franchise to Fidelity roster edits make a big impact to the sim stats.

They will work fine as well. The only thing I noticed before was the strikeouts across the league would be lower. But it’s not a game breaker.

Glad you are liking them. You can try solid hits at 3 for both. I’m actually trying 9/5/5/5/3 for CPU and so far so good. But I need more testing to make sure it’s not too weak. I was seeing too many line drive doubles in the gaps for my liking.

Like that, getting in a more realistic zone now. At 10-5 and even 9-4, I saw too many 100mph+ contacts.
