    Are you putting the controller in the middle so it is ran by CPU? I would think it would make pitching changes for both.

      One thing to consider, I believe if you start the game by selecting Manage Full Game (manage mode) it doesn’t actually allow you to put the controller in the middle.

        One thing to consider, I believe if you start the game by selecting Manage Full Game (manage mode) it doesn’t actually allow you to put the controller in the middle.

          What is everyone's thoughts and feelings regarding quick counts or not quick counts?

          Will these sliders work with both?

            We have tried quick counts and it still too easy to strike them out. Most of the time, you are going to see 10+ strikeouts per game. If you can live with that, than it is fine. We just didn't want to go down that rabbit hole on trying to get it to work perfectly. I would raise timing up to 6 or 7.

              Thanks! I have gone back and forth. I like the idea of QC, but hard to be in a pressure situation, new pitcher and be down 1-2 already. It would be nice to take a couple of pitches to see delivery, etc.

                Right. I wish they would start some AB at 1-0 or 0-1. From the little testing we have done this year and a lot of testing we did last year, you start mostly on 1-1 and probably more than half the time, the hitter fouls the first pitch that you throw so they are already in a 1-2 count. We really tried to make it work last year.

                  Hey guys, I feel like I've been hitting too many homers lately, and my pitching is just dominating the opposition. I'm using the original sliders from the OP, and I really don't want to change anything because the game was playing beautifully. It just seems like the past few days has seen some change in gameplay; I'm hoping it's an anomaly but it's been a stretch of about 10 games now.
                  Cleveland Guardians - MLB The Show 25
                  Washington Nationals - MLB The Show 22
                  Aston Villa - FC 25

                    I have the same problem on the hitting side. I bumped HUM Power down to 3 and am seeing how that works out

                      That might work but keep an eye on that. I noticed when you lower power, the groundballs through the infield don't really make it through for singles. And you lose gap power.

                      We have been testing CPU sliders 6/4/6/0/4 and that has been better so far. And testing fielder speed at 3. With that, the CPU has been getting more doubles and opening up their offense a little more. You could also try 6/5/6/0/4 if you like.

                      For human, we have been testing 6/4/5/5/4 and that seems to lower the amount of home runs. Lower the wind to 3 as well.

                        Thanks I’m going to try this. I’ve seen a few people set pitching to legendary while keeping hitting at Hall of Fame. I’m going to have to go back into my settings as well, I feel like the games were so much more intense and close in my first franchise this year.

                          We are also testing Hum control and consistency at 4 and that is giving us good results so far. So we are testing with the below settings.

                          HUM
                          Contact: 6
                          Power: 4
                          Timing: 5
                          Foul: 5
                          Solid Hits: 4
                          Control: 4
                          Consistency: 4

                          CPU
                          Contact: 6
                          Power: 4 (you can try 5 if you want)
                          Timing: 6
                          Foul: 0
                          Solid Hits: 4

                          Fielder speed: 3
