The White Sox franchise is going as expected. We absolutely suck and only have 3-4 bright spots and Louis Robert’s is not one of them. Really enjoying it though. When you have a game where you actually stay in the game even it is a loss it is rewarding.

I wish I could say the same thing. I HATE LOSING. I don't get anything out of losing a game except that I need to win the next time.

I tried to use the A's last year to try see what it was like to use a literal AAA team. I just couldn't play knowing that I literally no chance to win most of my games.

It can be pretty rewarding to play with a bad team but then rebuild it into a winner. Much more rewarding than playing with the stacked team from day one.

But if someone is just playing one season, then playing with a bad team with no chance, would be no fun.

What is your record so far?

I was thinking about doing a Royals franchise. Looking at the Royals, you would have to do a lot of scouting. They have like 8 picks in the 6 rounds.

Any recommended changes if we are getting too many hits? Might be too small of a sample size, but through 7 games, my teams hit totals are 14, 10, 10, 12, 14, 13, 12.

Trying to determine if I need to make a slider adjustment, or bump up to Legend.

          Happy opening day!

I wouldn't go to legend quite yet. What are your pitch speeds? You could either try raising them one if you feel like it is too easy for you. Or you can lower Contact at 5.

I am posting an update to our set right now so this should help.

              Hi folks,

We have been testing a couple of changes and it is pretty much fine tuning things right now. Version 1.1 is posted and the changes are below.

Especially with the hitting sliders, if you are getting good results with the first version, you can keep using them.

              Lower HUM Contact to 5
              Lower HUM Power to 4
Lower HUM Solid Hits to 3
Lower HUM Starting Stamina to 5

Not necessarily, all in how you look at it. I use the Dodgers only and while you may think it's not as rewarding as "building up a team" the challenge lies with keeping a "stacked team" competitive, because obviously at some point those players are going to retire, it then becomes a challenge to stay at the top.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

For some reason, I enjoy the Dodgers and did a season and a half with them on 24. I only stopped because I got 25. The young players like Sasaki, Yamamoto, and Kim are fun to play with. And even players like Outman, I am trying to get him some playing time and try to get him to reach his potential. And also with Pages and seeing what he can do. I'm really struggling with Muncy with his .089 batting average the first 15 games. He's finding the bench more every game.

And then you have the great personal guys like Freeman that I really like.

Those games where you had so many chances to score runs. Those pitches you miss timed that could've changed the outcome of the game. All those moments are excruciating at times, but boy is it fun when you come up with that clutch hit, homerun, or final out of an inning.

I started off on fire with the Blue Jays, and now we're 15-15, 2-8 our last 10. So many close games. I can't win a one run game for the life of me. Something I'm very familiar with as a Reds fan last season. Those are the ones that will hurt you in the standings in September.

Lol we hold a 4-10 record as of last night after starting with a hot 3-4 record.

Im just now really getting to put my normal time into the game. Work has had me tied up since release.

Just my opinion but this years title is so far ahead of the rest of their releases. It has made the struggle that much more enjoyable. With headphones the stadiums sound amazing.

Headphones best way to play imo. You can hear a lot of things you don't pick up through TV speakers or a house full of kids lol. I love all the walkup music that's not on the game's menu music playlist. A huge variety. I don't know if everyone has a different song but it seems like it.

Yeah I dunno it’s the only thing I’ve noticed that’s bothering me well good hire or perfect ones seem to always be fly balls 80% of the time or pop ups. It’s good that homers are not crazy though. IRS more of a frustrating out hitting the ball so good to get so many fly outs

Maybe your latest changes will create more bloopers as less contact

I haven’t been really tracking the groundballs and fly out numbers like last year. Last year, they had too many infield pop ups.

I just played a game and tracked.

The balls put in play by the CPU
                                Groundball/choppers: 15 (52%) MLB average 44%
                                Line drives: 5 (17%) MLB average 22%
                                Flyout: 9 (31%) MLB average 34%
Popup: 2 (22%) MLB average 11% (11% of fly balls are popups in mlb)

Il will start tracking this and report back.
