FYI the game I played today, finally got a good pitching performing from Braxton Garrett (current ERA over 7) Lost the game 3-2. Phillies had 3 walks, 8 hits, (4 singles and 4 XBH's). Their bullpen is rock solid and I could not get the big hit late in the game when I needed one.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

oh no problem, just go to in game main menu, Stats, scroll down to Advanced Stats. It's a bit burden in menus this year when last year it was accessible through Gamepad Left if I remember.
Only thing.. when batting with one team, you can't view statcast from pitching team. So near the end of the game just go check both.

At the end of the game, I go to that screen and count the balls in play and hard hit balls and put them in my spreadsheet. The mlb average is 35%, I’m only getting 19-22% for both sides. Usually get about 5 hard hit balls with 30 balls in play. But I’m not sure what the game counts as hard hit. Real life it is 95%. I know the game doesn’t count 95%. I think it’s 96%.Last edited by bryanm1982; 06-27-2025, 07:17 PM.Follow me on Twitch

Can I ask a rhetorical question? Are we chasing percentages or gameplay? I can tell stories about my players you wouldn't believe. At this point, I'm only concerned with AVG and Slug. Those were the issues with the initial release of the game. I figured out it's online card crap and I solved the game

Sorry. Not trying to be aggressive or angry or steal. I created a slider set that recreates literal baseball and idk how this fell into my lap. I might not be around anymore, guys. Bryann. Life.

The idea and thought to move cpu contact to 10 was absolutely brilliant. Unlocked the game for me to "explore". Appreciative.

I appreciate all your feedback and ideas.
I honestly don't care about hard hit % or anything.
That is too much "chasing" for me. I'm not gong to raise power to get them to the real life hard hit % but have nothing but home runs and hard hit balls. That will not be enjoyable. And there was one day I gave up 12 hits on 8 runs and they only had 3 hard hit balls according to that screen. So to me, that is something that we can't really fix I don't think.
I am happy as long as their batting average is in range of real life and they are getting a balanced amount of singles, doubles, and home runs.Follow me on Twitch
