S & B's MLB 2025 Simulation Sliders

Went into game 2 of the Giants series. Went into the 9th inning down 2-1. Got 2 singles in a row and got a sac fly to tie it. Scored 2 runs in the 10th on a Ohtani rbi double and Freeman solo HR. Went to the bottom of the inning up 4-2. They got a leadoff single to make it first and 3rd. They hit a ball to the LF corner that the OF jumped to bring it back in but didn’t catch it so it was a double. Runners of 2nd and 3rd nobody out up 4-3. They got a groundout to 3B. One out. They tried for a suicide squeeze to tie the game and the bunt was popped up to the pitcher. The game ended with a double play since the runners were going. Crazy finish.

Wow. Gotta love those suicide squeeze attempts to tie the game lol. That's moreso done to win the game, no? Crazy finish though.

Yeah, I was shocked it was just to tie the game. It might have been because of a weaker hitter maybe? I can't remember who it was but they were at the bottom of the order I think.

So far so good on the contact at 10 for me. I just lost 4-2 last night. Some innings I pitched with no problem, some innings I was constantly pitching out of trouble. But contact at 10 power at 5, I feel like if I leave a pitch in the "happy zone", it's going to get destroyed about 75% of the time.

Yeah, I was shocked it was just to tie the game. It might have been because of a weaker hitter maybe? I can't remember who it was but they were at the bottom of the order I think.

That would make sense and they've tried it twice on me. I believe both were at the bottom as well. One time it worked for them, but I just hit a 2- run bomb in the bottom half to walk it off. I tried it in a playoff game years ago and failed. Never again, I told myself.

Yeah, I have seen them do it back to back before to tie it and win it. I've also seen them do with 2 outs before. Yeah, I don't trust myself on getting them down to gamble that.

Even on 10/5/5/5? You must be on a hot streak. I have lost 7 out of my last 9 after being on a hot streak.

You can try my hybrid hof/legend sliders for more of a challenge. I feel bad for telling people this in here. Bryann does such a great job making sliders with his own preferences and everyone's feedback.

Thank you for sharing. Bryanm's sliders are a blast to use, I just can't lose as frequently as I think I should. I am like 47-13 at 60 games as the Phillies. Maybe their SPs are OP'd? I will check them out and see what happens.

i'm still having good results with the 10/5 combo. Even when I get a 4-3 win like I did last night, it feels like I'm on the edge of my seat with pitching and have to be very careful.
