I've tried playing 10/5 and I feel like too many games or innings get completely out of control and turns into rocket ball. I still give up hrs to lower power guys and plenty of rockets with 10/4.

I tried but I just can't get behind contact at 10. I had to lower it back down. I was seeing the CPU get too many hits swinging at balls outside the strike zone with 2 outs. I had Henry Davis golf a 0-2 breaking ball out of the dirt for a double. Gonna try CPU contact at 7 for a while.

I've been burned like that too, but I like the overall benefit 10 contact gives for me. I just don't think power needs to be at 5. I gave up 2 400ft homers with exit velos over 105 last game. One was by McClain, who has like 50 power. The other was De la Cruz whos exit velo was 111mph. The other thing I'm paying very close attention to is how the fielders react and move to the ball. I'm leaning towards a lower run speed ATM myself.

Any Ideas on if these will prevent the " scripted " CPU come backs? I don't know what to do to mitigate them. Its crazy how often it happens , especially in the playoffs / world series. I cant seem to wrap my head around how they process the logic behind it and how/why they happen the way they do.

I would say to don't leave the pitcher in too long. Either trying to get my SP a QS or having a RP try to finish the inning. I play with the Dodgers and I'm 63-24 so I don't see that. Scott is 30/33 in saves.

I really dig contact at 10 still, I haven't wavered on that. It really adds to the stress of pitching on my end, and the need to be creative on the mound, and the sigh of relief when I get a guy out. I'm still keeping power at 5, but that could change eventually because sometimes it does seem high. I need a few more games to decide either to reduce power from 5 to 4, or try to drop solid hits to 4 instead and see what happens.

Last night playing KC, I went down in the count 3-0 against B Witt, and so I threw a "get me over" fastball just to get a strike and the dude blasted it over the fence. The bottom line is I want pitching to not be a "breeze" and where I'm at now is pretty close.

I'm sure eventually I'll find it too easy at 7 and bump it back up to 10.

I am having good results with 10/4/5/5/5. I use meter pitching and zone hitting. I like the variation of each game. I also have noticed a lot of things factor into hit streaks, slumps and pitcher confidence.
the only thing I have noticed over the past few games is how my offense is crushing it and stealing seems easy. I really don’t want to lower the cpu steal success as that adds to the competitiveness. It could be my guys ratings also.

so my biggest question right now is rosters being used. I am not sure if everyone is using the same one or not but that could also be a reason why some people are seeing different results. Last night I went to the valut and downloaded several different ones. It’s is very interesting how different rosters are. One will have judge at 99 and another at 95. Same with pitching skene was 92 on one and 98 on another.

So what roster does everyone feel works best with this setup or doesn’t that matter? I am using one that seemed good and I just updated to my personal liking

Love the sliders and how everyone has been able to zero in on a fun competitive game again

I never use custom rosters, only the ones that SDS provides. I think I'm currently using the second roster patch they sent.

Yeah, rosters play differently. I am using the Fidelity rosters. SDS rosters, you'll notice that the sim games have low strikeouts when you sim. I tested them out this year and over a week worth of sims, teams were averaging about 6.8 K's per game. Fidelity Rosters are about 8 K per game across the board. So it all depends on personal preference. I thought about doing a SDS franchise but I'm too invested in my Dodgers franchise and want to try to get a 2nd season in. I'm just before the Allstar break. If I start over now, I'll finish the season right before 26 comes out.

I use the fidelity roster and felt like CPU contact 10 was getting a little ridiculous. One guy will get a hit and then everyone is hitting dingers. Especially low power guys.

I am having good results with The settings I’m currently using.

I use the SDS roster. Fidelity pumps the ratings to a point where it's hard to tell the difference between players.
